Wife allegedly axed to death by husband in Sri Racha after refusing to reconcile

A 40-year-old wife was allegedly axed to death by her husband after she refused to reconcile with him.

Pol. Col. Sakchai Suwannukul, police chief of the Sri Racha Police Station, responded to an alleged murder on Soi Bang Phra in Sri Racha’s Bang Phra subdistrict along with the Sawang Pratheep rescue service.

The incident occurred in a kitchen in a one-story row house yesterday afternoon, August 21st, 2022. The victim, Wanrat Ruabrat, a 40-year-old cook, was found dead on the floor with several gruesome head injuries. Pol. Col. Sakchai believed that the injuries were produced by a bloodstained axe left at the incident scene.

The victim’s older sister Yindee Ruabrat, 46, said that her sister was murdered by her own husband.

Yindee claimed that her sister’s husband visited her while she was cooking to try to settle a personal dispute. However, Wanrat refused to reconcile, which allegedly enraged her husband and fueled him to murder his own wife with an axe.

The suspect fled on a motorbike and was still on the run, the Sri Racha police chief said. However, the officer pledged that he would arrest the suspect soon as it was a serious crime.

It's good of him to put it in context, I expect people wouldn't have known otherwise.

A bit early to jump to that conclusion, surely?

^ Exactly. The poor chap probably found the unfortunate lady with the axe buried in her bonce and tried to help by pulling it out, leaving his prints on the axe and blood on his hands and under his nails and then the penny dropped and he legged it thinking he's incriminated himself and will likely serve the rest of his life banged up. Pol Col Somchai will just take the easy route and lay the blame on the poor hubby.

Shitty country, shitty people, shitty police

On arraignment he will doubtless express profound contrition and get a 30 year sentence, later reduced to 15 years for good behaviour and then released after 8 years in the New Year pardon list.

Lives are just soooooo worthless here.

No rush, it's just a raging axe murderer on the loose.
