kind of wish it were true, but nope.

Looks more and more Joe will be faced with a GOP Senate and House for next 2 years. Nothing Joe wants passed will be and you can be sure a new House Select Committee will be formed to investigate Hunter Biden.
More division and finger pointing again.
^looks that way
Sabato’s Crystal Ball predicts GOP control of Senate with 51 seats
___________
Today. The Dems will lose the house and signs are pointing towards the Dems losing the senate also.
Dems need 50.
#49 – I doubt Oz wins.
#50 – After all that has come out during this election cycle about Walker it should frighten even Georgia voters. Hope all of the reports about a strong early voter turnout of Dems proves to be true.
#51 – would be extra but I don’t think Cortez Masto will pull it off. Hope I’m wrong
___________
For the next two years the republicans will try to repeal Obama Care (starting point will be 55), repeal Inflation Reduction Act., impeach Biden and maybe cut money going to Ukraine
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Huge win for Fetterman in Pennsylvania! Big blow for Republicans.
Loss of Governorship and Senate seat doesn't bode well for GOP.
So glad Fetterman won. I’m hoping Warnock will win over that brain damaged Herchel Walker. I reckon Walker was banged about the head too much during his football career.
And, Raffensperger kept his job as Secretary of State in Georgia, I am glad to hear. He is a man with scruples, standing up to Trump the way he did.
Looks like the red wave turned into a puddle.
it is snigger worthy that it takes days or even weeks for the results - but the republicans will have to be dragged kicking and screaming into the transparency of digital voting
^^ HuffPo said, “The anticipated red wave of 2022 looks more like the wake generated by a medium-sized fishing boat.”
Arizona and Georgia senate races need to go democratic. Both dems are leading, and I.............. KNOCK ON WOOD. If so no red wave at all.
Amazing stuff.

I changed my residency from Georgia to Nevada back this summer, so I couldn’t vote in Georgia and didn’t know enough about Nevada politics to vote there.
I did notice that Nevada voted for ranked-choice voting! Wow! It’s a better way to vote that we don’t end up with someone elected that the majority of people don’t want. Again. Hope all voting goes that way in the future.

Oh, jeez MK, it would have taken you 5 minutes to make up your mind regarding the Senate there. Adam Laxalt is a trumpanzee 2020 election denier. A vote against a moron like that is an easy decision.
The race is close right now. If he wins by one vote, it will be your fault!
The nutter is losing.
Arizona Secretary of State Election Results 2022 - The New York Times
Trash
Still early - 62% reporting
__________
Another piece of trash (not over yet)…….
More trash being removed (still early)…..
Hopefully the Libertarians will sit on the sidelines and pout during the runoff. If not, Senator Warnock might have a difficult time winning the race.

Nothing resembling a 'red wave '
Election deniers for the most part have been given their just rewards.
I think any Trump ambitions for another run are pretty much finished. How these results will affect the situation in Ukraine it's hard to say.
De Santis is looking strong. Newsom would make a good choice for the Dems..
If the Republicans win the House and Senate Biden is going to have a hard time steering the Ship of State, no job for an eighty year old in frail physican and mental health.
Anyway, I'm celebrating a good result.
A true diplomat is a person who can tell you to go to hell in such a manner that you will be asking for directions.
Agree. He was no doubt the biggest loser in this election. Those he endorsed lost. Those like De Santis who kept him at arms distance won.
Dem and Rep politicians play to the majority and with the very large percent (75) of US voters who support helping the Ukraine, expect no change in US commitment.
"Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect,"
I will explain very slowly.
I was living in the state of Georgia. I moved to the state of Nevada in May. I changed my residency from Georgia to Nevada which allows me to vote in Nevada legally. As a Nevada resident, I am not able to vote in Georgia.
I left for Thailand and got busy with things here and did not pay any attention to what was happening in Nevada so did not vote.
In case you do not realize, these are state elections for state offices, not national.
So what do guys like Congressman Tim Ryan do now after 20 years as a congressman and losing the run for senator in Ohio? Still young … not quite yet 50.
