^ You are missing the point. This is where MPs decide which two candidates are put before the Tory party members nationwide for a vote. Currently in polls amongst the membership he's not doing well. Its early days and the TV debates, the first of which is tonight will have a major influence on this.

So far Sunak is coming across like a snake oil salesman.
Liz Truss is another polished politician akin to Theresa May.
Kemi Badenoch is giving a good account for herself.

Tugendhat has given Sunak a couple of good blows.
Mordaunt is keeping her powder dry as the knives appear to be out for her over an LGBTQ 12345 issue.
    Shalom

^ i'm looking at a different programme then

Not one of them has stated the obvious. We need to prioritise and decide as a country if we are prepared to fund and focus on certain priorities instead of promising the earth as all politicians do - someone, anyone should stand up and say this and be frank that some things will have to fall by the wayside. Recognise that decisions taken now are paid by our children and involve them more.

Not one has a vision, they are trading existing economic or financial balls, no vision. What are you seeing, i'm seeing a missed opportunity for them and the party as this sets the tone for the next two years in the follow up to the election..

This is what 'normal' politics should be about, but it isn't. Probably never has been as you'll never get full consensus about what is a cause and what isn't, what is worth funding and what isn't. Even if you do then the details will kill you.

My youngest daughter has been campaigning for the voting age to be lowered to 16 as she pays taxes on her part time job and bank interest . . . basically representation through taxation, in her words.
The left-leaning local pollies love it . . . the right-leaning ones not so much as climate change is a major platform for the kids.

You believe in a utopian world if you think "decide as a country if we are prepared to fund and focus on certain priorities" is even close to realistic . . . teenagers already know better.

it seems to be you that is suffering from delusions. too much pattaya sun on your bald pate i suspect.
She marched with her parents as a CND youth campaigning against atomic weapons, then was a card carrying LibDem worker who spoke at Conference and then joined the Tories because they offered a faster route to political success. She voted remain but changed her tune after sucking BoJo cock to stay in Cabinet. She has no convictions of her own but in trying to wear the clothes of others she is frequently gauche and not a little silly - her speech wanting to block imports of cheese is memorably insane and extolling the crusade of Brits fighting in UKR was presumably voiced after another of her boozy sessions. Truss gets pissed on benders and likes an impromptu shag whenever the opportunity might arise. Euphemistically, this is known within Tory circles as being the life and soul of the party.

Tax, this slew of tenth rate candidates are only there because of BoJo's insistence his Cabinet was packed with folk whose mediocrity would flatter his own flawed character and incompetence, and whose primary qualification for the post was not any talent or ability but a slavish support for the cult of Brexit.

An insight into Truss's capacity for stupidity is her account of why she was now a Brexit convert - " I voted remain b'cos of the economy but changed my mind when I saw leaving had no impact "!!!! A £ devalued by 20% for 6 years, GDP growth of 0.5%, the lowest of the G7, an annual loss of £60+ billions in trade with the EU , the destruction of the farming and fishing industries, a million SMEs decimated by the reintroduction of British barriers to trade with the EU not seen for decades, all have no impact?????

Looks fairly certain a Labour or Lab Coalition government is in power next.

what one thinks and believes as a teenager after one has been indoctrinated by parents, (and by all accounts her father was somewhat left of marx, her mother less so) can surely change once one has been exerienced some independence in the wider world. a change of belief, especially when that change contradicts ones parents surely indicated strength of character rather than the stubbornness of those who in spite of all the signs and evidence, repeat their mantras ad infinitum.

brexit WILL prove to be have been the right choice for the uk, as the european coalition of the disunited continues to tear itself apart. long game and all that.

truss and mordaunt gave very poor performance last night, it was tugenhat and badenoch that were the stars, with the multi millionaire sunak running a close third.

Truss gets pissed on benders and likes an impromptu shag whenever the opportunity might arise. Euphemistically, this is known within Tory circles as being the life and soul of the party.......She loves a shag and getting it on after a skin full.
a rather bitchy comment based on hearsay or perhaps she turned down your generous offer of a 30 second knee trembler in a foreign office karsey?

JRM probably doesn't want the spotlight put on his activities with hedge funds, and how much he made out of BREXIT.

I imagine he failed to get 20 MPs to back him. I can't see the electorate voting for Tory with him as leader. He's a bigger snake than Gove.

The so-called 'woke' issue, akin to the trans bollox, is irrelevant tosh of no significance.

The main problem is restoring fiscal competence, retrieving lost trade from our EU neighbours, restoring faith in the GFA, giving Scotland a vote on freedom and restoring free movement between the EU and UK, and rejoining the single market.

Do that and Britain might normalise itself after the fucking disaster of BoJo and his Brexit.

Am rather shocked at the sexist comments. Rather than lude innuendo, Voters should concentrate on who has the best vision for the UK going forward. Failing that, the one with the biggest tits.
