You are making assumptions that are flawed or in some cases, factually incorrect. Why would you choose to do that?
Is it because you jump to conclusions without full knowledge of the facts? Perhaps you simply inhabit a different dimension to the rest of humanity.

He is entertaining. Good video in the link

New York Times Opinion - Liz Truss will be Britain’s next prime minister — the nation’s fourth in seven years. And she’s inheriting a nation falling apart at the seams. https://twitter.com/nytopinion/statu...73151819653120

Clearly a view from one end of the political spectrum. (An increasingly alarmist media view).

If you read my posts on various political threads, you might note my own concerns about the lack of serious, statesmanlike persons of any political party, not just in the UK, but globally. I am actually apolitical, but I do have serious concern for the country of my birth, and elsewhere. Democracy is less than perfect, but it remains our only hope for avoiding extremism of any kind.

Some good news, Priti Patel has quit. Good riddance to the evil bitch!

So what's the betting on how long Truss will last? Will she make it to the next General election?

I reckon she'll need to pull a few rabbits from her knickers if she wants to last through what could be the worst winter since 1979. Actually, I think she'll top that winter by a country mile.

Even with BoJo it was a little over one percent.

As usual, you quite spectacularly miss the point.

    Perhaps bigger letters would help?

    Less than 1% of voters.

Cyrille jumps the gun again. Next GE is 2024, maybe sooner. Pity no one can field a credible candidate.

    You're a blinded idiot.

You should go home - you'll fit in perfectly.

Oh, except for that other stuff.

Oh, and you complety missed the point there, yet again.

I did not 'jump the gun' in any way whatsoever, you wittering simpleton.

I stated a simple fact. This whole farce is not democratic.

An interesting point from Süddeutsche Zeitung: there are reports of MPS already preparing a vote of no confidence in Truss in order to bring back Boris. They are saying that it all depends on the outcome of "Partygate" inquiry:

    Translation:
However, a comeback is not considered out of the question. The politician, who will initially return to the backbenches, still has a strong support base in the party. According to reports, some of them are already preparing a vote of no confidence against his successor in order to bring Johnson back into office as quickly as possible. The decisive factor will be whether a parliamentary inquiry into the "Partygate" affair concludes that Johnson knowingly misled Parliament. This could possibly lead to the loss of his mandate.

Is this the reason MPs are trying to get Partygate quashed...

Asked how she'd feel about unleashing global nuclear annihilation, incoming UK Prime Minister Liz Truss didn't hesitate to announce she's "ready to do it." Upon taking office tomorrow, she'll already preside over a substantial "boots on the ground" UK military presence in Ukraine

The people will suffer even more under Truss. Boris is a blundering fool, whereas Truss is the opposite.

Anyway, fly the Union Jack proudly irrespective of the consequences
