Those are the ones that get the most press. Alabama, Mississippi, rural Georgia and Louisiana are even worse in many cases, but they are real backwaters, so you do not hear about the madness that goes on in those places.

Ya, he is a baller for sure but lives in metro Atlanta for the most part which is nothing like rural Georgia. Just outside the city, you get nutcases like Marjorie Taylor Greene.

I was not born in the US, I have never lived in the US, only visited my Dads, my family.

I cannot half the time understand them, but they are all of them really sweet to me.

And yes, Marjorie Taylor Greene is I think a fruitcake

Sorry I cannot answer for them.

If you are referring to my family as retards, you should know they do not vote Rebublican.

The statistics posted earlier we’re pre Covid.
All countries affected by Covid had reduced life expectancy. If you actually bothered to read the original quote, a smart chap like you could have worked it out.

    This ?
The current life expectancy for China in 2022 is 77.30 years,
Doesn't look 'pre' to me, but nevermind cause:

NOTE: All 2020 and later data are UN projections and DO NOT include any impacts of the COVID-19 virus.

    Yes

Except Denmark and Norway, according to my link

You are right; maybe I didn't bother or isn't that smart.

Was merely fact checking David's fact checking.

I think most everybody got Sabang's point.

    Admitting it, is harder

The countries often held up as shining examples of modern socialism, usually create higher charges for the services provided.
Germay and many Scandinavian countries have their citizens pay higher taxes for such support as healthcare, education and social services. Most of them seem perfectly content with this system.

In every society, people pay, or they die. Some countries are good at it, others not so much.

In authoritarian or communist countries the people really don’t have any say in it. Express your contrary opinion in China or Russia and you are punished by the state for it.

Before OhOh and Sabang jump to defend them with cut and paste quotes, you don’t live there so you don’t actually know!

Have you looked into the cost of the danish healthcare system compared to ...the US system ?

I did notice your 'often' and 'usually'. Well played; I would have weaved the same words in

The best system is authoritarian neo Cameralism. Like Singapore

Neocameralism is the idea that a sovereign state or primary corporation is not organizationally distinct from a secondary or private corporation. Thus we can achieve good management, and thus good government, by converting sovereign corps to the same management design that works well in today’s private sector – the joint-stock corporation.

One way to approach neocameralism is to see it as a refinement of royalism, an ancient system in which the sovcorp is a sort of family business. Under neocameralism, the biological quirks of royalism are eliminated and the State “goes public,” hiring the best executives regardless of their bloodline or even nationality.

Or you can just see neocameralism as part of the usual capitalist pattern in which services are optimized by aligning the interests of the service provider and the service consumer. If this works for groceries, why shouldn’t it work for government? I have a hard time in accepting the possibility that democratic constitutionalism would generate either lower prices or better produce at Safeway …

Once you fix governance and the economy , social spending would be cheap

    Germany- social

If you are not a total fuck up here in Germany you can get a free trade including license like your electric license, plumbing license, IT Informatik license, hairstylist, electronic, cook, etc.
You can then make your Masters Electrician or Electric Engineer or similar and the Government helps you pay for it.

    30 working days vacation
start as an apprentice between 400-1000 euro. Not bad for a 16 year old
    full medical
    sometimes extra Life Insurance

Companies should pay for their educated trained workers and not stick it up some stock owners ass. They should pay out bonuses when things go well. Mercedes I think it was 4000 euro for every employee last year.

Have to admit that Germany is leaving the path and becoming utterly Americanized capitalist pigs.
