Thailand annual road traffic fatalities Vs Covid fatalities.

Has Thailand benefited from Covid and lockdown because of the decline in road traffic fatalities?

Are there any statistics out yet?

25,000 fatalities a year due to bizarre recklessness on the roads annually Vs an average of 100 deaths per day because of Covid.

Also a consideration is the type of person killed via RTA Vs Covid.

    Food for thought?
    Shalom

    Anecdotal.

I've seen or read about a fair few fatal accidents over the years.

I'd say the majority are caused by people being too stupid or too drunk to be in charge of a speeding vehicle.

Does that count as bizarre recklessness?

Because it puts Thailand at the top of the global charts.

Whereas a covid death would tend be an older more responsible person.
Those muppets that would ordinarily die on the roads would probably not give s shit about lockdown and restrictions anyhow, but the chances of them dying on the roads would be reduced because of less traffic..

I have no doubt traffic deaths are down because of Covid lockdowns. I thoroughly enjoyed driving all over the North, primarily because there was next to no traffic anywhere.

You apparently think the whole planet is the same as your street.

You were in Thailand for about as long as it takes to get drunk and get married - wtf do you know?

I've been there long enough to know that I wouldn't want to waste my twilight years there venting my spleen on a screen whilst chugging Cheers beer.
The highlight of the day being a 5 finger shuffle over a Jackie Collins novel collection.
Hows the plans for semi retirement in a dusty old book shop coming along Ciz?

Got any examples of me ‘venting my spleen’ rather than just laughing at cox like you?

You’re the poster who in your words has suffered ‘8 years of hell’, not me.

Your posting record makes it clear you're from the dregs of humanity, but still you feel you can patronise people on the other side of the world.

She must feel she can fly today.

    So Fly.

So much to look forward to now she's free from this utter cock.

Are you even going to try and make this utterly dumbarsed thread seem relevant?

"People die from eating too many crisps, so why wear a mask?"

"Lions kill more people than bears. Fondle a bear today and offer him some salmon. Cuddle his chin while you're at it."

Fuck me, you are one spectacular moron.

CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)Covid-19 cases are rising, not falling – CCSA infection numbers called into doubtMaya TaylorPublished on Monday, October 11, 2021 10:24By Maya Taylor

The Covid-19 infection numbers being reported by the CCSA are being called into question by the Rural Doctors Society. According to a Thai PBS World report, the RDS argues that the number of daily new cases is going up, not down. According to the report, the society says that yesterday, the CCSA reported 2 figures for new cases – 10,817 infections from PCR testing and 10,055 from antigen kit testing. However, in its news briefing, the CCSA reported the total number of new infections as 10,817.

Thai PBS World reports that the RDS has urged people to be aware that Covid-19 infection numbers are on the rise, at an average of 20,000 a day. Yesterday’s reported figures also reported 3,000 patients with severe symptoms, with the RDS saying there has been no slow down in severe cases. The society argues that this shows that daily infection numbers are more likely to be around 30,000 and that this would increase with more widespread testing in high-risk areas.

    Who's the moron now Ciz?
