Boris being held to account by his predecessor Theresa May on this - Chinese feelings might be hurted.

This aint my thang, but a lot of people are saying this gives Europe a bloody nose and lets them know they are out of the loop when it comes to the major powers (of which the UK clearly still is despite our Brexit fuckwittery):

America's deal with UK and Australia leaves Europe in the cold on China and embarrasses France - CNN

I'm all for embarrassing France but Germany I quite like.

Hal, its NATO. The EU have been fuking about and not contributing for decades now whilst the US and UK take the brunt of fielding forces, money and leadership. Germany, France and Italy have refused to front up. Worse still, they have spat their dummies over the Afghan withdrawal and the position it left their in country interests in, well when you are a taker you'll end up a receiver so fuk em and Vive La EU Army.

That's why we still try to keep close relations to Russia (North Stream) and China (212 billion EURO- "Major WORLD Traders" ).

    America is Republican fucked!

Little Britain still sucking Yankee schlong and loves being pissed at (see Boris yellow hair)

Thanks for your response, nammers. As erudite as ever.

However, haven't we been down this avenue a few times about EU contributions and dare I suggest that you might be a little bit biased on this score?

^^ tell me whats not true about the EU and NATO? its amusing that the EU is now fronted by country that perpetrated the holocaust, one that supported them and a country that caved and sucked at the UKs teat, all of who naturally hate the UK so yes there is a little bias but that doesn't explain their lack of NATO engagement

    Dear God, nammers.

Do you think the political party that runs Germany is the same one that tried to exterminate 6 millions jews in 1940?

^ course not, but what is their excuse for not fronting up Hal. Its going to be funny watching the EU in-fighting over NATO vs EU Army - they may fund one but whether it will ever coalesce let alone do something outside the EU borders is a mystery. If it takes a unanimous vote then they may as well burn the money now

I'm afraid that you overestimate your own importance.

You are actually no longer an issue.

I reckon we pay too much

I think one of the reasons for the EU, right from the start, was european countries unhappy with having their self determination in a US depot.

Whereas, every time the brits needs to fart, they prefer to ask permission in Washington DC first.

    Each to his own

    That is true.
If you ask me who I trust more: "Putin or Washington" , I could not give you an answer.
Republicans scare me more then Putin.

But I always said that I feel sorry for the Russian civilians (they deserve better).

it does look that way, given the way Labour dragged the UK along with the US but those days are behind us thankfully. Cyrille of course will deny Labour was a fault and its all a Conservative conspiracy but we all know it was Labour that is respnosible for getting the UK involved.

    Makes sense

Why would the UK want to import food, now that you are masters in your own house.

(except ofcourse the US hormon beef that the seppos will force down your throats, now that you haven't got the Brussel protection )

The biggest security issue is to be self sufficient in food supply.

An in depth probe into the subterranean fumblings will be screened tonight

Emanuelle in Miffland. those devious Anglos have done him like a ....Kipper?

If this is the inflexion point we may wonder in a generation is a Russian/Turkish/Nuclear Germany with Italian knobpolishers a price worth sending redundant sardine cans to stop the chnkies bumming the okkers.

Beside you there was one of your people many years ago (didn't he had a moustache?) who had felt the same way...
