    For telling the truth:

    None.

Maybe all this chinky censorship belongs in your "Brave New World" thread, eh?

It seems the "View from China" is becoming a little more obvious to some of its citizens. The chinky nazis can't clean it up quickly enough.

Youtube demonetizes pretty much anything with half a sentence bashing feminism. Doesn't even matter if the content creator is a woman. It's ridiculous. Our very own Thought Police are way too active. The manospehre would probably do better if the abhorent CCP owned youtube.

Mass layoff at covid test kit factory leads to protests in China's Chongqing

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Protests erupted in China’s Chongching this weekend as the country softens its “zero-covid” policies, which led to mass layoffs at a pharmaceutical company.

On Saturday (Jan. 7), thousands of workers of Zybio Inc., a pharmaceutical company producing nucleic acid covid test kits, were abruptly informed of mass layoffs without any prior notice or consultation, reported UDN. Angry employees, many of whom did not receive their most recent wages, gathered in large numbers to protest in Dadukou District of Chongqing.

The workers destroyed company property at the factory and began to demolish large numbers of covid test kits and other products. Police were dispatched to control the swelling crowds, which led to clashes between the two sides. Videos of the protests have been shared on Weibo, Twitter and other social media.

As a result of drastically reducing the amount of regular covid testing required across the country, companies charged with providing covid test kits are being forced to suspend operations or layoff large numbers of employees.

Over the past two years, China’s industry for producing covid tests and PPE equipment has expanded significantly, as most of the country’s other industries have stalled. Experts have warned that Beijing's sudden turnabout on its “zero-covid” policy might have disastrous repercussions for this industry and create serious problems for the economy at large.

That would be this industry that only exists because the chinkies gave us covid.

Fancy being upset at not needing that any more.

I love that you post "how the chinkies view the world" when their point of view is nothing more than state propaganda.

So really, what you mean is "How Mr. Shithole wants the chinkies to view the world".

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin’s Regular Press Conference on January 9, 2023

"CCTV: The COVID Omicron XBB.1.5 variant is rapidly becoming dominant in the US, replacing the BQ.1.1 variant. Has the US shared relevant information and data with China?

    Wang Wenbin:

The open-access data of GISAID has shown that over the past three years since COVID began, almost all COVID variants and their sub-variants have spread widely in the US, making it one of the countries with more COVID variants than others.

Currently, this new Omicron sub-variant, known as XBB.1.5, spreads the fastest in the US and now accounts for more than 40% of new COVID infections in the US.

The US needs to share its domestic COVID information and data with the WHO and the international community in a timely, open and transparent manner, and take concrete and effective measures to stop the virus from further spreading.

PTI: About the variants in the US. Are you going to take any countermeasures now that you have opened up the borders and also opened to travelers from the US? So are you going to take any steps in this regard to test or probably to ban travelers from the US?

    Wang Wenbin:

Since China announced the decision to manage COVID-19 with measures against Class-B infectious diseases and adopted provisional measures on cross-border travel, many countries have expressed their welcome, but a few countries have also announced entry restriction measures targeting travelers from China. China has been in communication with relevant countries with the utmost sincerity in this regard based on facts, and has elaborated on China’s science-based and reasonable COVID measures refinement and China’s current COVID situation. Regrettably, a handful of countries, in disregard of science and facts, have insisted on taking discriminatory entry restriction measures targeting China. China firmly rejects this and will take reciprocal measures.

We once again call on all parties to make sure that their COVID response measures are fact-based, science-based and proportionate and avoid politicizing COVID. China stands ready to maintain close communication with all parties, adapt COVID measures to the changing epidemic situation, make joint efforts to facilitate cross-border people-to-people exchanges, and contribute to global solidarity against COVID and to world economic recovery."

I've lost count of the number of times the chinkies and the russians are going to wipe out the dollar.

Must be playing the *very* long game.

China holds a trillion dollars of US debt. And TD's biggest supporters of China think it's a good idea to weaken the dollar. They really aren't that bright.

It's actually less than that, but still a trillion dollars. Do you think China would benefit from a weakened US dollar? Not sure what your point is.
