    NATO-Russia Council,

Secretary General Stoltenberg explains why NATO is getting serious ....’

    Mon, Jun 7, 2021

"Stoltenberg even raised the possibility of resuming the NATO-Russia Council, a forum for collaborative dialogue that has not convened since July 2019.

“So far [the Russians are] not answering in a positive way but we have some contact with them now on the possibility of convening a meeting of the NATO-Russia Council,” Stoltenberg said."

Russia ready for dialogue with NATO, insists on military experts’ participation Earlier, Jens Stoltenberg suggested resuming meetings of the NATO-Russia Council

"Russia is ready to discuss issues of de-escalation and preventing incidents with the North Atlantic Alliance, but without engaging military experts this dialogue makes no sense, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on her Telegram channel on Monday.

"Russia is not avoiding dialogue with NATO and is ready for a real discussion on the issues of de-escalation and preventing incidents. But without engaging military experts the talks on these issues would actually make no sense.

Mr. Stoltenberg is well aware of this,"

Zakharova said, commenting on NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg’s statement that Moscow had not responded to a proposal on holding a meeting.

Touching on Stoltenberg’s remark that the ball was in Moscow’s court, the diplomat said:

"Speaking about balls. Mr. Stoltenberg, please return your goalposts to the playing field, we will score."

Earlier, the NATO chief suggested resuming meetings of the NATO-Russia Council (NRC), noting that Moscow had been invited to hold dialogue more than a year ago, but it never responded.

The NATO-Russia Council was established in 2002 based on the agreements brokered by the Italian government led by Silvio Berlusconi. The Council held its last meeting in July 2019.

I would love to see the council resume their meetings. Any positive dialogue between Washington and Moscow is always welcome.

I'd also like to see Russia back in the G8, but that probably isn't going to happen until we get some understanding on the Ukraine situation.

^Why not to listen to dangerous Mr. Putin, perhaps some positive dialogue are in pipeline (not in the one of North Stream 2):

^Or was it in this footage from St. Petersburg Economic Forum? (we have missed some report about that event...)

Wondering why they are so undeveloped that they cannot provide a teleprompter? So, all it has to be from his head...
Perhaps, they can buy some next week in Geneva, or get a 2nd-hand one or two from (forgot the name ...)

Or rather until the murderous russian thug pays some compensation to the civilians that he killed.

Some suggest the focus is on the G20. A much larger % of the worlds citizens along with more UNGA votes.

Indeed. But if the US dominated Nato just wants to continue being a provocative, expansionary thorn in Russia's side, then Berlin and Moscow will have positive dialogue instead, and bypass Washington. Such as the recent completion, or near completion, of the Nordstream 2 pipeline.

Many TD members can only understand sound-bites of less than 1 minute. But for the few ...

Here is a video from last week's St. Petersburg Economic Forum.

    THE LORD
, plus the Qatari and Hungarian co-hosts, answering questions for nearly three hours.

"The president is elected directly through a popular vote to a six-year term. The law prohibits anyone from ever being elected to the presidency for a third consecutive term.

In all, three individuals have served four presidencies spanning six full terms."

    https://www.google.com/search?client...lection+system

    (By the Russian citizens.)

Will his counterpart, in Geneva, manage to stay awake?

Subject to THE LORD arriving safely and the ameristani "elected leader", not having any problems with his earpiece.

"In the Electoral College system, each state gets a certain number of electors based on its total number of representatives in Congress. Each elector casts one electoral vote following the general election; there are a total of 538 electoral votes. The candidate that gets more than half (270) wins the election."

    https://www.google.com/search?q=usa+...ScsCmsQ4dUDCA0

"Are there restrictions on who the electors can vote for?

There is no Constitutional provision or Federal law that requires electors to vote according to the results of the popular vote in their States.

Some States, however, require electors to cast their votes according to the popular vote"

(By an unelected/unaccountable, regime, not by the people.)

Ohoh, it is good to see that you acknowledge where compensation is due.

If having the troops behind him, they make a big noise...
(BTW, did UK lose the WW2? Or are the soldiers there for a different purpose than in Germany?)
