A diferent term to 'on the verge of poverty'. People on a 'low income' is a much larger group, but here it contains 3 million fewer people than the number you claim are on the verge of poverty.

Lies have been always very powerful tool of the rulers and/or politicians.
And as thousands years ago, almost all wars are based on a lie - or on many lies.
E.g. the Spanish - USA war when the explosion of the boiler on US ship Maine was declared as a bomb. Who cares when later it's proven it's a lie? The events and the resulting deaths cannot be reversed.
And so similar lies can be found at beginning of many later wars, I do not dare to name few...
In our time we see daily many lies, they are very powerful. It's like a pandemic, all MSM repeat and trumpet the same lie, sometimes with the same wording. But when later proven otherwise, there is silence, no retraction of their previous lies.
One example: Russian bounty in Afghanistan. Try to ask WH speaker...
