The face of US politics has changed. The last half decent Republican potus was probably Reagan. Presiding over the end of the cold war in Europe, probably down to his political strength of conviction, and decisiveness when it mattered.
Obama was so promising for the democrats, but hamstrung by the opposition in the house and senate.
Trump comes across as bit of a meddling moron who tried to preside by social media. There’s no accounting for his continued strong following.
Biden looks a bit shaky, but has cleverly surrounded himself with a strong team. It remains to be seen if he has the ability to preside over such a fragmented electorate.
