The difficulty with America boils down to history.
From the earliest days, a gun culture has ruled societies norms, and its extremes. The founding fathers of the constitution were wise to include both restraints, and permissions, relevant to that prevailing culture.
Thanks to a questionable interpretation of those caveats, the population has assumed the right to bear arms.
It is of little relevance in the modern world, if a lone deranged nutter takes it upon themselves to use any kind of weapon available to them, in order to justify any kind of errant behavior, or a violent mob trying to assert these rights in perpetuity.
In the UK, apart from sport or game shooting, the public have no gun control caveats placed on ownership. The Police forces do have armed response groups, whose behavior and skill set is closely managed.
German civil police are routinely equipped with sidearms, but public ownership is not guided by a perverse constitutional interpretation of such ownership.

The NRA is not broke but recently used bankruptcy laws to move capital between states, for more advantageous protections of its wealth.

Any form of protest or even insurrection remains possible while the archaic constitutional caveats are allowed to stand in the USA. The new president has a unique opportunity to make some inroads into this obvious anomaly.
One small step at a time Joe.

Sadly, I doubt that he or his VP have the stomach for even a gentle jab at this serious problem.

I read a couple of weeks ago something like the US is waking up to the reality that 1/3 of its citizens wants to kill another 1/3 while the remaining 1/3 will likely just watch. Having lived and worked in the US twice (mid-90's and 2016-17) two things struck me both times...there is a very large percentage of the population that is as dumb as dog-shit (a great many by choice but sadly many by circumstance) and the more overtly religious someone was, the less likely they were to be honest (at least in business dealings).

The NRA is trying to move to Texas to avoid its leader and others being hammered in the courts for spending its money on Rodeo Drive suits and holidays in Hawaii.

However one of its big donors is now suing it for fraudulent activity or something, so that may throw a spanner in the works.

Thousands of Hispanics are once again descending on the USA hoping for illegal entry
    Evidence?

North Korea have once again began building nuclear weapons

    They never stopped.

Must be awful living a life of such fear, and no hope.

So, according to some, the biggest threat to Americas way of life is trump losing the election. I beg to differ- the biggest threat to Americas way of life is stupidity, and gulllibility.

Paleo Robbie, that caravan comes up from Central America every year. There are even movies and documentaries about it. It has nothing to do with Biden being president and nothing was different when Trump was president.

That’s what makes it Fake News.

TBH, this aussie sees absolutely nothing to be envious about with this vaunted 'American way of life'. Unless you are rich of course- but that's the same everywhere. Holy cow, the minimum wage is something like 40% of ours, many folk have zero health insurance or retirement funding and just live from one pay (or welfare) check to the next, you've even got supposedly employed people at companies like Amazon who need food stamps to get by. And you shoot each other too much- for a nominally first world country your murder rate is horrendous. And your Covid response makes many second and third world nations look good in comparison.

I suggest you go about improving the standard of living for the average person, to one approaching a true first world nation.

or it may be completely unrelated, it is a speculation by Fox News which btw also reported:

Even some white nationalists themselves , have admitted that the whole Hispanic takeover theory is kinda bullshit

The Political Bankruptcy of American White Nationalism, by Ron Unz - The Unz Review

The short of it is , it's not actually the Hispanics that are knocking over statues and driving this hard left culture war.

And immigration is what US was built on and what the US economy is propped up by: hardworking men and women, who are down on their luck, just looking for a better life with a cleaning job, picking fruit etc.

Or they were just thought of as being down on their luck until Trump started calling them drug dealers, rapists, animals and terrorists anyway.

Yup, basically nutrition to fuel the American economic juggernaut and at the base of the Statue of Liberty:
"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free."
"The New Colossus," the 1883 poem written by American Emma Lazarus
