Oh ffs a fooking tefler in Saudi. I suppose you thought it more challenging than a position at oxford or Cambridge. A laugh imogi is about the limit of your intelligence. I may not be not quite an A/C repairman, although the ones i've met would be far above your level of amoebic intelligence, but i would be happy to go toe to toe with you on any engineering or science subject and we would see how smart an arab teaching tefler really is. Do the majority of posters a big favour and fuck off. Jeezus H what a complete fucking wanker.
When are you going to confront the reality that your nastiness is just a reflection of the self hatred you feel for being such a loser. Australia is bumfuck nowhere compared to an arab sand pit is it? That statement alone shows what a fucking tosser you really are. Luckily for me a no nothing tefler like you would not qualify to come here thank fuck. Or have you already applied and been knocked back? That would explain the chip on your shoulder that's more like a log.
Here's a tip, read some of the shite pilger comes out with.
Taa taa you odious small minded little soap dodger.

Quite right Snubby. It is Christmas and I should be more tolerant of trolls. Including the ones who send insults and reds and then are totally surprised when I retaliate.

    No chance.

It's a full time thing with him.

    Reeks out from every post.

He's invented a whole backstory about me...that's always a giveaway.

I'd say Pilger was and still is a very well connected and established Journo with a lot of respect.

I think this is Pilger's most recent film- 2016, I've only now started watching it. A bit rambling, it starts off with US nuclear testing in Bikini Atoll (not exactly sure what that has to do with 21st century China?). Anyway, like all Pilger well worth watching and the title "The Coming War on China" seems prescient, given the obvious way anti- Chinese rhetoric has been blatantly ramped up the last few years.

"Seems prescient"? Well to you it would. To intelligent people capable of critical thinking, not so much.

I was left feeling an odd mixture of sympathy and exasperation after enduring John Pilger’s latest documentary, The Coming War on China.
Despite the journalist’s long career of opposing tyranny, oppression, and dictatorship wherever he may find it, Pilger’s loathing of the United States has led him to produce a film that acts as an apology for Chinese totalitarianism, distorts the truth about Asian politics, and presents China as a passive victim in a potential new superpower war. Actually, my sympathy for his intellectual descent is less sincere than my anger; what I watched was an incendiary spectacle that manages to circle the triumvirate of narcissism, ignorance, and propaganda.

Here is what an intelligent person would do, before commenting. He would watch the bloody doco, and decide for himself. And you don't have to agree with every point made, or the politics of the documentary maker, to learm from a good documentary, and maybe even gain some perspective.

I will refrain from commenting further, because actually I have only watched the first 35 minutes- which is all about Bikini Atoll, and the terrible toll extracted on the human guines pigs there. I learnt a chilling truth too- it was deliberate. Our very own Unit 739. He hasn't even got to China. My guess is Pilger slipped it in here, because most of the world doesn't really want to know about Bikini Atoll- and the unpleasant associated truths- all those years ago. I'll probably finish it tonight- 90 minutes to go.

I personally reckon JP's finest documentaries were about Cambodia, and East Timor. Among the finest political doco's ever actually- check 'em out, when you've finished S02 of the Mandalorian! Then you can actually decide for Yourself, amazing e'hhh. Have you ever watched a Pilger documentary 'arry?

I have no interest in watching a documentary where Pilger smooths the chinky furrowed brow while referring to nuclear tests from the 50's as if that is in any way relevant.

The critique I posted explains why Pilger's rabid anti-Americanism has clouded his ability to be impartial.

I watched the Cambodia one obviously, and he was right in that case to criticise the Americans for their tacit approval of the Khmer Rouge.
