My point is keeping a check on what would most likely be an out of control extremely liberal administration.

Either you are an idiot or simply a liar. Probably both, you're too confused most of the time.

The Republicans have deliberately weakened virtually every major government establishment to the point where it is useless.

Fiscal responsibility and Rule of Law has gone out of the window.

Control is exactly what needs to be reestablished, and the Democrats will do it, starting by replacing the swamp that baldy orange cunto has created with seasoned professionals instead of arse-licking, incompetent cronies.

Perceptions...... I have noticed what is considered "extreme liberal left" to many Americans would be considered fairly main stream middle of the road politics in most parts of Europe/Australasia.

Just when I thought alcohol had done enough damage to dwindling boomerbrains, along came the internet- and infested our younger generations.

That is just it. So many Americans like repeater do not realize how far to the right America already is compared to the rest of the world. The right wing propaganda machine is extremely powerful in America. It constantly pounds "the Socialism bad" doctrine on an hourly basis on media like Fox, breitbart, Washington times etc. These are the only outlets that people like repeater get their information.

So to be frank brainwashing in America is full circle amongst the right and it is amazing that they are not goosestepping at this point.

Is it fair to point out there is some pretty loony stuff emanating from the Left too?
But I agree that American Conservatism is just plain more right wing than elsewhere.

There is but it is not dispersed via a network as broad as right wing media where you have several outlets spouting the same talking points verbatim. Also, many on the left are better educated and do not tend to be as susceptible to fake news/propaganda.

It doesn't matter if they identify or not. If you are in a certain age group you are a boomer whether you like it or not.

Exactly and I would argue that you are one of those. That said I do think that you are in the minority.

I did not have a clue, but it seems if you were born in the two post world war II decades. I was. o

Gave me the opportunity to travel young. I had been around the world 5 times before my dad retired and we moved back to the states.

8 years old in Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong, corner of Granville and Nathan Rd. 1960.

What is the generation that preceded the beloved Xers, yet found itself of the post-Boomers?

Kinda left in the analytical haze.

Cordially, an old geezer boomer - that never found it necessary to be caught up in this terribly silly and invented generation comparisons.

Indeed. As if every person in the world, in every country in the world, in every social class, of diverse educational, social and family backgrounds, perhaps born 20 years and 10,000 miles apart are all the fucking same - boomers. Fucking nonsense.

    There wasn't one.

Generational comparisons are very valid. Your world was very different from the world that a millennial grew up in and even more so to a zoomer. You may not like it due to the fact that your generation is getting a lot of bad press right now and for good reason. Rest assured that generational tags will continue and for good reason.

As you might know, Nev.....these anxious and nonsensical sociological examinations of generation classing and comparatives are very American invented, and perhaps the social phenomena spread to other like cultures. Clearly not found or sociologically conscious of throughout the world's population.

Yet, because all of this shit is terribly [exceptional] American-centric, they expect the world's society to follow suit.
Rather uppity for a very infantile culture to attempt a worldliness venture.
