Organised immigration crime covers both the organised facilitation of immigrants to the UK (“people smuggling”) and the trafficking of people for criminal exploitation, for example as prostitutes or forced labour (“human trafficking”).
Organised illegal immigration causes harm to the people who are trafficked, who often face violence and other personal risks. But it also creates problems for the UK through the economic costs and impact on social cohesion brought by large numbers of illegal migrants.
SOCA | Organised Immigration Crime
It is estimated that each year, some 5,000 women and girls are smuggled or trafficked into the UK on the promise of a job and then compelled to work in the sex trade as prostitutes. Almost all come from impoverished countries in eastern Europe, Africa and Asia and intelligence suggests that some of the criminals who smuggle women and girls into Scotland are themselves illegal immigrants.

BRITISH security services are covertly tailing more than 40 criminal cells run by recent immigrants from eastern Europe.
The gangs, operating across the country, are understood to be involved in people trafficking, prostitution, money-laundering, extortion and drugs.
A well-placed Home Office source told the Sunday Express that the cells have thrived since Christmas when the UK opened its borders to EU newcomers Bulgaria and Romania.
The Government was repeatedly warned of a likely influx of criminals – particularly from Bulgaria, renowned as the most lawless nation on the continent.
It is understood two gangs have already had their bank accounts secretly frozen, after investigators found they had accrued more than £15million in just four months.
No arrests have yet been made. Last night Scotland Yard would not comment on the ongoing inquiries.

Still waiting for your stories of massive race war in Scotland.
Around 100 people staged another demonstration in the racially charged Sighthill area of Glasgow on Monday night.
Local residents, most of them youths, staged the protest to highlight, what they say is favouritism towards asylum seekers.
The demonstration came after hundreds of refugees staged an angry protest in Glasgow after a Turkish asylum seeker was stabbed to death on Sunday.

Keep digging...
Now we've moved on to "asylum policies", "illegal immigration" and Eastern European gangs?
You missed out

A Kurdish man had been stabbed to death, not in a gang war you'll be disappointed to learn and nothing to do with eastern europeans.
So no racial gang warfare. Give it a break Shitman.

I keep having to post to prove the blindingly obvious & I'm not doing it any more. I have been shouted down & can take a hint. I can't believe even some of you don't know what I'm talking about.
^^
Not what I had in mind but it seems we have.

One-hundred people constitutes a gang, in my eyes. I think it's a bit rich of you to quote dates as earlier you were blaming events from thirty years ago.
That's because with each successive post all you've managed to do is move the posts.Quote:

Amazing what google can do ...
Richard Littlejohn, a columnist in the Sun, Rupert Murdoch’s daily tabloid, published a particularly vicious, racist novel entitled “To Hell in a Handcart”. Littlejohn’s tract celebrates the anti-liberal and populist prejudices of an imaginary ex-policeman, Mickey French, who kills a Romanian asylum seeker involved in a robbery on his home.
At one point in the book, French’s car is attacked. “He could see the faces pressed against the glass, foreign faces. There must have been 10 or a dozen, swarthy, olive-skinned young men with gold teeth in designer clothes, women in shawls and headscarves with babies in arms, thrusting their hands towards the car.”
The racist prejudices and crude stereotyping in Littlejohn’s first work of fiction can be read each week in his column in the Sun parading as fact.
Here, perfectly clear, is a perfect example of Daily Mailesque distortion:

Truly a case of reading only what you want to believe if ever I saw one. Honestly do yourself a favour, put down the Daily Mail and read a proper newspaper.Quote:

I can't find the link. I remember seeing it on TV.

I'm not against immigrants as a rule - I'm against being milked to death to buy them cars & stuff & there should be a limit on the numbers. If, after proper examination of the facts, we are up to or over a fair limit then it's time to pull the shutter down.
You sure it wasn't a friend of yours that told you? Someone that lives there perhaps? Or maybe they have a friend that was there and saw it all?Quote:

For a more in depth and recent look, this series of polls by MORI makes interesting reading:-

The bottom line is most Brit's do not have an overtly negative or hostile view to immigrants or foreigners as such, but they overwhelmingly think the country has too much immigration currently, and it should be reduced.
Insofar as a citizen/resident of a country has certain rights, and a say in the Democratic process, I do think the issue is being somewhat swept under the carpet by the political mainstream.

Good stuff - apart from the money demands.
Nice try.

I retract what I said earlier, stay with the Daily Mail. It's the perfect match for your ill-informed, baseless, anti-immigrant ranting.
The irony of your post is totally lost on you isn't it, but then you didn't have to think and write it yourself, you just had to cut and paste.
My point was that you are highlighting a problem brought to your attention by the Daily Mail, but what do you consider should be done to solve the problem? The Daily Mail doesn't offer solutions to the fear and loathing it stirs up does it? So what do you think should be done?
Consider it rethorical, being that it was only designed to illustrate the absolute ridiculous nature of your 'Oh, I saw it on TV' claim after repeatedly failing to substantiate yet another claim.Quote:
