From the horses mouth. "That's our job" (to control what people think).

would've been good to hear the rest of what she said but it contradicted what you are suggesting she meant so of course you cut it short and present it out of context.
She actually said "that is our job. To give people the facts and let them decide for themselves ".
What you just did is exactly what they were accusing the right of doing. Presenting things out of context.

This is a particularly nasty trait of the right.
The dems have to be very careful with their words.
For example if in response to the orange shitgibbons recent allegations, Biden had said " to say I want to hurt god and take away your bible is just ridiculous ", you would have clipped that and said "here it is straight from the horses mouth " and presented a clipped video of him saying "....I want to hurt god and take away your bible....".
    See how that works Deeks?
try and be a little more discerning.

That's not true. Fox would lie about it.

You kind of left out the context.

    She was referring to Trump.

Or, did you miss that part?

“SCARBOROUGH: "Exactly. That is exactly what I hear. What Yamiche said is what I hear from all the Trump supporters that I talk to who were Trump voters and are still Trump supporters. They go, 'Yeah you guys are going crazy. He's doing -- what are you so surprised about? He is doing exactly what he said he is going to do.'"

BRZEZINSKI: "Well, I think that the dangerous, you know, edges here are that he is trying to undermine the media and trying to make up his own facts. And it could be that while unemployment and the economy worsens, he could have undermined the messaging so much that he can actually control exactly what people think. And that, that is our job."

Now, do let us know if you have a tough time with her statement. She is literally saying that Trump’s White House and Trump’s own biased media (Fox, Breitbart, Infowars) are engaged in trying to control the way we think.

And, she clarified it, once Trump’s Media took her statement out of context: “Today, I said it's the media's job to keep President Trump from making up his own facts, NOT that it's our job to control what people think.” She was trying to explain the obvious — for those who are small-minded, who are unable to follow a simple, obvious train of thought.

You are the one swallowing fake news you gullible retard.

I think it is more prevalent today. The first time I took any notice of it was the unrelenting criticism of Obama by Fox news. I cannot remember a positive story on Obama in his entire tenure from Fox. It certainly seems to have spread. In Australia most people on the left lap up the ABC and nod in agreement. Likewise, the right does the same with Sky news. Centrist political commentary is increasingly hard to find. Centre left politics appears to have moved to the far left and likewise centre right political thought seems to have moved to the far right.

^ Have you any other link to the stats besides what you picked up from Facebook?

Plenty of other media not listed there, you know.

What he states is downright laughable.

    Other Major Outlets

Here’s just a partial list of influential news sources not owned by these six corporations.

New York Times- perhaps the most influential newspaper in existence. Owned by the New York Times Company
Washington Post- owned by Jeff Bezos of Amazon
Associated Press (AP)- operated as a cooperative, non-profit association owned by many newspapers and broadcast members
Tribune Company- owns some major newspapers like the Chicago Tribune and LA Times, as well as many local TV and radio stations
Hearst Publications- owns San Francisco and Houston Chronicle, as well as many local TV and radio stations. (Note: does have some partnerships with Disney)
Yahoo!- owned by Yahoo Inc., the highest-read news website in the world
MSN- owned by Microsoft, the 2nd highest-read news website
Reuters- major British news agency, owned by Thomson Reuters
PBS and NPR- owned by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, a non-profit government subsidized entity
Huffington Post- owned by AOL/Verizon, a popular liberal blog with almost 7 million Facebook followers
Bloomberg- owned mostly by Michael Bloomberg, an influential financial news source
iHeartMedia- the predominant owner and distributor of talk radio, broadcasting the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity
The Drudge Report- run by Matt Drudge.

    So many more....

Two of the most credible are indeed the NYT and Wapo. Then of course there is NPR during the day, and I am sure that is your sane lifeline Misskit.

They employ actual real journalists and have integrity unlike the sad right wing propaganda sites.
