Does that mean we lose lyrics like Frank Zappas, "don't eat the snow where the eskimos go" or does it get re-recorded surplanting the offending name with inuit.

Met many, have you? Few and far between here for me to ask them but it seems, according to my admittedly limited research, some are ok with it. Regional I guess

For the sake of political correctness and snowflakes the world over...

The name "Eskimo" is commonly used in Alaska to refer to Inuit and Yupik people, according to the Alaska Native Language Center at the University of Alaska. "This name is considered derogatory in many other places because it was given by non-Inuit people and was said to mean 'eater of raw meat.'"Jun 20, 2020

Maker of Eskimo Pie Ice Cream Will Retire ‘Inappropriate’ Name

As worldwide demonstrations denounce racism, the company behind the nearly 100-year-old frozen treat said it was time to rename a brand considered culturally insensitive.

Christ on a bike Cujo that is very old news.

The Inuit Circumpolar Council voted to replace the word "Eskimo" with "Inuit" in 1977

    Why did I Google it?

Because I had no idea about King Leopold and his atrocities in the Congo Free State.

So I googled if somehow the esky brand, in an Australian context be racist.

I prefer to ask questions then being a know-it-all.

    A recurring theme? ... nope.

Currently the BLM and Covid-19 are in the News cycle hence they are being mentioned.

Seems there is a failure by the TD Woke SJW brigade to come to agreement over the use of the word Eskimo...

For sure, I am not overly worried as I do not meet too many “eskimos“ here in South Australia. I’ll just have to take my chances if I meet one.

    Wish me luck!
