Coon cheese is named after its American creator, Edward William Coon (1871–1934) of Philadelphia, who patented a method, subsequently known as the Cooning process, for fast maturation of cheese via high temperature and humidity.

Maybe Johnie walker white? Hold on that infers white supremacy and exclusion.
Maybe Johnie Walker should just mix red, black and blue together in one bottle they could call it Johnie Walker inclusion. However they will need to ditch the picture as it harks back to days of exclusion and slavery.
Maybe they should ditch the name while they're about it as the name is a bit to gender specific and could be seen as excluding women and transgender people.
How about LGBTQIH non gender or colour specific vegan approved Whiskey?
Hold on that may offend teetotallers.
How about LGBTQIH non gender or colour specific vegan approved liquid infused with teetotaller offensive additive? After all it wont change history and we will all remember it was once called the JW word, whatever that was.

It's funny seeing so many people get all uptight about things that don't affect them. The loss they'll suffer when Uncle Ben's rice has a different logo . . . that Darkie was changed to Darlie years ago . . . that a brand of butter . . . etc.

(Howmany here have bought Aunt Jemima's, Uncle Ben's, Darlie?)

    To quote Bernie Sanders:

"“Oh my word, will the universe survive? How absurd and wrong is that? What kind of value system is that?”"

Sure we know history, but it's the naive and easily herded that they are concealing it from, those that want it to be true, and in particular to keep future generations ignorant and therefore compliant.

To paraphrase what Goebbels is supposed to have said, the size of the lie is irrelevant, because if you repeat it often enough people will eventually come to believe. While the motivation to believe in his time were incarceration/death, our more civilised era is satisfied with loss of career and livelihood and social ostracism.

Problem is, to complete the jigsaw they ('they'!) need to not only scratch away at or simply destroy conflicting evidence, but gradually rewrite the history books and icons that we grew up with, to suit the proper narratives.

And it's not too early to piss off a few snowflakes, so who should we blame for this if not us, a fat and prosperous generation that looked on bemused having given our kids free reign to completely lose the plot, so that all future generations suffer by missing out on the truth.

Orwell wrote 1984 as a warning, and controllers have adopted it as a manual. Ayn Rand also wrote Atlas Shrugged as a warning, that the mind is the root of all human knowledge and values, and its absence is the root of all evil. Easy to understand why 'they' chose Orwell.

Anyway, I liked Uncle Ben's rice as a kid, not for the black guy but because of what was in the pack. People have been known to make consumer decisions based on actually eating foods that they buy.

Then I discovered basmati and no more Uncle Ben; does that make me a racist?

Exactly, the wailing and forelock tugging is reaching hysterical proportions.

It's like they think that if anything proactive is done about inequality and racism they'll be forced to acknowledge that it exists and that, conversersely, they've benefited from White privilege and they really just aren't that special.

And look, here's one now that I prepared earlier:

And speaking of hysterical, all this reminds me of when that nutter Smeg started posting as a Black man whining about the racism he'd recevied in Thailand.

He really has been nuts since forever that loon!

I'd never heard of Aunt Jemima before but I sometimes buy Darlie toothpaste and many years ago in the UK bought Uncle Ben's rice.

He’s still at it over on TC, ranting with his umpteenth login there and accusing others of what he does.

In fact it’s highly likely he’s monitoring this thread as we speak and taking notes...

In reponse to the ignorant pronouncement that "All Lives Matter" I found this response on Reddit's 'explain it to me like I'm a five year old'.

"Imagine that you're sitting down to dinner with your family, and while everyone else gets a serving of the meal, you don't get any. So you say 'I should get my fair share.' And as a direct response to this, your dad corrects you, saying, 'everyone should get their fair share.' Now, that's a wonderful sentiment -- indeed, everyone should, and that was kinda your point in the first place: that you should be a part of everyone, and you should get your fair share also. However, dad's smart-ass comment just dismissed you and didn't solve the problem that you still haven't gotten any!

The problem is that the statement 'I should get my fair share' had an implicit 'too' at the end: 'I should get my fair share, too, just like everyone else.' But your dad's response treated your statement as though you meant 'only I should get my fair share', which clearly was not your intention. As a result, his statement that 'everyone should get their fair share,' while true, only served to ignore the problem you were trying to point out."

let's suspend reality for a moment and pretend that the usual suspects on TD aren't actually racists.

would the posts of avowed racists on other forums be significantly different?

they'd start threads like this, breathlessly express their umbrage at their 'culture' being under attack, display their frustration at those seeking justice, and then post racist memes and images.
