Coon cheese is named after its American creator, Edward William Coon of Philadelphia, who patented a method, subsequently known as the Cooning process, for fast maturation of cheese via high temperature and humidity.

I hope there are no statues of this racist prick. A brief google indicates there are many Coons actually. Including one of the worlds leading neurovascular surgeons. BLM, get the lynch mob ready.
Too many damn Coons if ya ask me.

German food company Knorr to change 'racist' name of popular spicy sauce

A new look to remove racial stereotyping-12564974-3x4-xlarge-jpg

One of Germany's best-known food companies will rename a popular spicy dressing because of the racist connotations of its name.

    Key points:

    • The sauce's name translates as gypsy sauce
    • Roma and Sinti people still face discrimination in Europe
    • The rebranded product will be rolled out in supermarkets within weeks

Food company Knorr will change the name of its Zigeunersauce — or gypsy sauce — to Paprika Sauce Hungarian Style.

"Since 'gypsy sauce' can be interpreted in a negative way, we have decided to give our Knorr sauce a new name," Unilever, the international consumer goods group that owns Knorr, said.

It won't take long until the word traveler is also considered to be racist.
Meantime I will continue to listen to all the wonderful music the Zigeuner has given us and which has been named after them - zigeunerweisen, zigeunerlieden.
