Well known by now that state actors have been using a massive number of social media accounts to 'influence' dumb forks on Fakebook et al. into believing pro-Trump/anti-5G/anti-vax bullshittery. While Klonedick's low level of English & reading comprehension together with his agenda pushing retardism may make him look like a perfect suspect for such a position I do wonder why said state actors would spend resources to 'influence' the tiny number of anti-social, Chang Beer vest-wearing, alcoholic expats that make up the population of this forum?
Some people think it don't, but it be.
^ Well, China thought enough about TD to block us in that country.
TD is also blocked at my work so I don't think makes us special in any way.
^
Definitely your poor level of English.
Thanks for asking.
That exactly shows your feeling of supremacy: If the people from low life countries will beg nicely, we will see graciously whether we let them in our exceptional country and have them work for us.
Sorry, I have to disappoint you again, I never asked for that and never intended. At my numerous trips to USA (almost all for business) I was graciously allowed in and luckily also out.
When I wrote about "American Dream", you got it wrong by your supremacy view ("You are so easy to wind up" ). It should just express the general interest in the "New World", so different from the "Old World", the country, the people, the culture, etc. However, the more you know the more disappointed by the supremacy politics.
Sadly, the supremacy view of the state propaganda has a negative impact on certain part of population. And you are the example of it: "Don't worry about the poverty and misery in our country - ignore it, let's point to bad conditions of others. And who does not agree with our point of view goes against us..." (as GWB once said and Stalin many years before him)
"And don't worry that you do not get a proper education and health system (if you are not well off), you can get a fashie uniform and nice photo. And perhaps also few lessons in reading/writing. And if you survive you can early retire and have a good life in Thailand..."
So, where are you from?
Taibbi: How the Press That Sold the Iraq War Got Away With It - Rolling Stone
Matt Taibbi last year on how the mockingbirds got away with their lies. I guess I'll need to subscribe to read his full book Hate Inc. New lies on top of old lies...but I'm supposed to believe them and not question. Yeah I'm the stupid one.
And yet, Monsanto/Bayer receive little or no coverage as to their evil doings.
Wonder why.
makes you wonder, how many of headlines on current events are lies too.Promoting the agendas of a select few.
hush little news consumers, don't say a word
daddy warbucks will buy up some mockingbirds...
Hey, Klondyke, where are you from? You seem to be a bit shy about it? An inferiority complex, perhaps?
Not going to give me the same opportunity to make assumptions about you based on your nationality, as you did for me?
Yeah. So edgy you are. What mass media corporation owns Rolling Stone?
Give us a heads up on the current lies, without the whack a doodle blogs. That’s a bit more difficult.
Oh, my. You are really so mainstream.
Americans' Trust in Mass Media Edges Down to 41%
https://news.gallup.com/poll/267047/...dges-down.aspx
^^Was way ahead of that poll. My mistrust started around the Ruby Ridge, Waco and OKC time period. That's when I started digging into the history of media lies. Specifically US media.Their track record over the years is laughable. Not all of it has even come to the surface yet. What has though is bad enough. Mostly it is swept under the rug and as Taibbi said, the perps fail upwards. They are rewarded for their lies.
Yes I understand Rolling Stone is corporate owned but Taibbi's complete Hate Inc. book is on his substack site. While we're on the subject...Who owns The Daily Beast? Aren't they in a joint venture with Newsweek?
When I link something how often is it whack a doodle blogs as you put it?
The bottom line for me is that US media long ago lost its cred as "the fourth estate." It no longer works with the interests of we the people in mind.
