    We will see at 6am.

    1. Tories on track to win 368 seats, giving them a clear majority in the House of Commons.
    2. Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party is forecast to pick up 191 seats — down 71.
    3. The Scottish National Party is expected to win by a landslide in Scotland, taking 55 seats out of 59.
    4. Liberal Democrats are predicted to return 13 MPs to Westminster.

    Thank fuck for that.

Hopefully Labor will dump Corbyn and get themselves a decent Leader with policies which are socially progressive and fiscally responsible.

Great news (hopefully) whichever side you are on, at least parliament can get back to functioning again.

    LABOR WINS

The first declared seat ... Newcastle on Tyne ... by a landslide I might add.

I never actually watched UK elections before. It's a quaint style to have the candidates on stage as their polling numbers are read out.

No deal is still on the table and with a workable majority twats like tusk will have to take it seriously instead to treating the UK like it has hitherto. Yerman job losses in the car sector look bleak.

Yep, song and dance as the £ crawls up a bit, but they don't realise nothing's changed, they've voted in the best of the worst to deliver a Brexit that will leave the country worse off than before.

Everything's back on the table with bojo's majority, but he'll likely take the easy route, more or less the same surrender that he offered before with unnecessary and costly concessions.

The one thing UK plc doesn't need right now is weak and egotistical leadership that doesn't recognise it's own potential, and that's what we got.

No deal is not on the table, has never been and never will be.
It's totally unrealistic and by majority (and it is not only a meager 2% majority) unwanted.

Well i was a bit sceptical of the exit poll but its looking reasonably accurate. So all these remainers who've been telling us for 3 years that the result was too close and we should revisit it - seem they have their answer.

They really just need to stop fringe parties like UKIP from running-0.1% of the vote. That's around 6000 wasted votes and shouldn't be allowed.

Wasted for whom though Mandy, do you honestly think if they did as you said those votes would automatically switch to one of the remaining "larger" parties or they'd just not vote at all.

This is however a democracy thank God, however flawed.
