Baldy orange loser is desperately trying to delay certification, which is due on 23rd November. All county boards have to submit their returns by that date. Obviously what the loser is trying to do is make sure only Republican counties submit.

One this strategy fails, the whole argument fails.

Harrisburg: President Donald Trump’s campaign has withdrawn a central part of its lawsuit seeking to stop the certification of the election results in Pennsylvania, where Democrat Joe Biden beat Trump to capture the state and win the White House.
Ahead of a Tuesday hearing in the case, Trump’s campaign dropped the allegation that hundreds of thousands of mail-in and absentee ballots — 682,479, to be precise — were illegally processed without its representatives watching.

The campaign's slimmed-down lawsuit, filed in federal court on Sunday (Monday AEDT), maintains the aim of blocking Pennsylvania from certifying a victory for Biden in the state, and it maintains its claim that Democrat voters were treated more favourably than Republican voters.
The remaining claim in the lawsuit centres on disqualifying ballots cast by voters who were given an opportunity to fix mail-in ballots that were going to be disqualified for a technicality.

The lawsuit charges that “Democratic-heavy counties” violated the law by identifying mail-in ballots before election day that had defects — such as lacking an inner “secrecy envelope” or lacking a voter’s signature on the outside envelope — so that the voter could fix it and ensure that their vote would count, which is called “curing”.
Republican-heavy counties “followed the law and did not provide a notice and cure process, disenfranchising many,” the lawsuit said.

Counties in Pennsylvania employed inconsistent policies when it came to “curing” ballots — notifying voters of an error in their mail-in ballot so they could fix it. But contrary to claims by the Trump campaign, that inconsistency didn’t fall strictly along party lines.

It wasn’t only Democratic counties that “cured” ballots, as opposed to Republican ones that didn’t. All counties got the same guidance the night before the election instructing them to notify political parties and update the ballot-tracking online system about ballot errors, thus allowing voters to cast a provisional ballot on Election Day.

Some counties notified voters, and some didn’t.

Republicans have lodged several challenges about the so-called “cured” ballots in court, arguing that counties that refused to “cure” ballots were simply following state law and a state Supreme Court ruling that prohibited it. Democrats say the guidance was clear, and perfectly legal.

But even if the courts were to reject cured ballots, election experts say there were too few of them to make much of a dent in Biden’s slim lead in Pennsylvania anyway. Biden led Trump in Pennsylvania by about 60,000 votes, according to vote tallies as of the morning of Nov. 13.

It really is quite terrible that a State Governor can criticise one of Trumps top Covid advisers like this when she has no medical experience whatsoever.
The governor of Michigan criticized Dr. Scott Atlas, one of President Donald Trump’s top Covid-19 advisers, after he said on Twitter Sunday that Michigan residents should “rise up” against its new restriction measures.

“The only way this stops is if people rise up,” Atlas said on Twitter. “You get what you accept. #FreedomMatters #StepUp.”

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has been a frequent target for Trump and his supporters. Whitmer accused the president last month of encouraging “domestic terrorism” against public officials working to contain the spread of the coronavirus. She pointed to Trump’s criticism of her which prompted supporters to recite the chant “lock her up” at one of his rallies only a few days after law enforcement foiled a plot to kidnap her.

"We are in the midst of the worst weeks of this pandemic. We have been going through this for nine months and right now the numbers are as bad as they have been at any given time and so we have to take aggressive measures," Whitmer said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Monday. "With the vacuum of leadership in Washington D.C., it's on the states' governors to do what we can to save lives.”

Atlas’ tweet came shortly after the governor announced a new order partially shutting down venues like restaurants, schools and bars after state officials said soaring case counts could lead to 1,000 deaths a week in Michigan.

The three-week directive, which also limits family gatherings and extends a mask mandate for indoor and outdoor gatherings, comes at a time when coronavirus cases surge across the country. On Sunday, the United States recorded its crossed 11 million Covid-19 cases.

In September, NBC News reported the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was overheard saying that everything Atlas said “is false.”

Dr. Robert Redfield suggested that Atlas, a neuroradiologist with no background in infectious diseases or public health, was misleading Trump and the American public with misinformation about the efficacy of masks and the potential benefits of herd immunity — counter to the advice of many infectious disease experts and state health officials.

This isn’t the first time Atlas has come under fire on Twitter.

Last month, Atlas falsely claimed that masks didn’t prevent the spread of coronavirus on Twitter. His tweet was removed and replaced with a note saying “This Tweet is unavailable,” linking to Twitter’s rules and policies, which outlined why and how the company chooses to remove or limit certain posts.

Whitmer added that the new restrictions will cut the state's losses short.

"We'll lose another 20,000 people just here in Michigan between now and the middle of February if we don't take aggressive action now," she said. "So for three weeks, we are going to tighten things up, batten down the hatches and try to get everyone to rise to the challenge in front of us."

^ Dr. Atlas really isn't considered a "top" COVID advisor.....or any other kind of lucid/intelligent advisor.
Not even close to being a specialist in these particular fields.

Appears to be a loyal cult member who is largely perpetuating more harm than good.

Donald Trump has been tweeting up a storm in the wash-up to the US election.
But it appears millions of his supporters have flocked to a rival social media site that has rocketed to the top of the downloads list in the days since Joe Biden was declared president-elect.

It's called Parler, and it has become a beacon for Mr Trump's fanbase to rail against the election result and spread claims of voter fraud without checks or balances.

One expert warns this could be a dire sign of things to come.

The tagline on its website is: "Speak freely and express yourself openly, without fear of being 'deplatformed' for your views."

Parler had added a further 4.5 million users in the previous five days alone.

It has become a beacon for conservatives, particularly those who believe Twitter and Facebook are censoring right-wing opinions.

Trump backers drop court cases challenging voting results in four states.

U.S. President Donald Trump replaces his putter as he plays golf at the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, U.S., November 15, 2020.

    Key Points

    • Plaintiffs aligned with President Donald Trump in four states have dropped their lawsuits challenging ballots seen as giving President-elect Joe Biden his margin of victory in those locales.
    • The dismissals of the cases, which all involved plaintiffs represented by lawyer James Bopp, occurred in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
    • The cases are among a group filed by backers of Trump and the president’s own campaign as part of an effort to reverse Biden’s projected win in the national race for the White House.
