They are not very far from stupid at all.

The bankruptcies, the stiffing of small businesses, the racism, the grabbing of pussies and the mocking of the disabled should have made him unelectable to anyone with half a brain cell and even a small shred of decency.

"Despite these provocative pro-Trump images coming out of Florida, the shift toward Biden is evident in the state, a key to winning the Electoral College. A late August Quinnipiac University poll in Florida showed Biden leading Trump among older voters, by 54 percent to 44 percent and another late August poll of Florida voters, this one by Public Policy Polling, showed Biden in the lead among the same group,2 by 52 percent to 47 percent. This stands in contrast to the sentiments of older Florida voters at around this time four years ago."

Another bit of very bad news for Trump. Lose Florida, game over.

I'm guessing his continuing allusions to cutting social security or maybe cutting some benefits or or or or . . . not a winning platform

I really don't get this at all.

How can anyone not see just how grossly incompetent and unfit for office he is after four years of ceaseless scandal after scandal.

There was the economy to point to -- which even at the best of times is short-sighted -- but even that's trashed because of his lies and ineptitude over Covid.

No disrespect intended, it just genuinely baffles me.

You're assuming that if people realise he's a turd that they will dislike him.
You're assuming that these people aren't also turds.
    May not be the case.

True but it's a fairly depressing thought to think that there are really that many morons / assholes out there.

I mean we all know they exist but surely they don't account for near 40% of voters??

That seems to be exactly what the situation is.

    Well then... Fuck.

I logged-off Twitter because it's a cesspit and I thought no way the sheer idiocy there could be truly representative.

The way I see it, it isn't even a matter of politics anymore, political direction nor policies . . . aside from taxation, of course and the direction they are going with constant tax-cuts is not sustainable.

It seems to be simply a matter of a big FUCK YOU by Republicans/Trump supporters towards not only Democrats (and there is clearly no other political party) but also to more centrist Republicans.

Nothing to do with politics anymore . . . so we should stop thinking of it as such

A Trump campaign ad calling on people to 'Support The Troops' used pictures of Russian fighter jets:

Trump ad asks people to support the troops. But it uses a picture of Russian jets. - POLITICO

    Weaponised stupidity.

    Also from the article:

"the soldier on the far right in the ad carries an AK-74 assault rifle."

Can the word 'amazing' still be used?

And it still uses the 'old'
    MAGA slogan

I'd say unbelievable but considering the clown show that is the U.S. Republican party it's totally believable.
I'm guessing some Russian troll sent that pic to the right person.

    ^ Alfred Nobel

    Nothing 'Noble' about Trump.

    Maybe Nobble though

So ... it's the Nobble Prize for Trump

Christ. Just now reading about this. Really makes me think about who is actually putting out the pro-Trump ads.

at one of his recent rallies (i.e. super spreader events) they played 'fortunate son' by creedence.

it makes you wonder if at least some of the people working for him are actually trying to stop him.

Scientific American has never endorsed a presidential candidate in our 175-year history—until now.

The 2020 election is literally a matter of life and death. We urge you to vote for health, science and Joe Biden for President.
Biden receives endorsement from Scientific American, magazine'''s first in 175-year history

"The evidence and the science show that Donald Trump has badly damaged the U.S. and its people—because he rejects evidence and science.

The most devastating example is his willfully ignorant response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which cost more than 190,000 Americans their lives."

Damn, science just clapped-back at Trump like a muthafucka!
