However, this rate of rotation was so slow (the life-tenured Supreme Court averages in the vicinity of twelve years) that the congressional version of term-limits garnered little support among the populist backers of term limits, including U.S. Term Limits, the largest private organization pushing for congressional term limits. The bill got only a bare majority (227–204), falling short of the two-thirds majority (290) needed for constitutional amendments. Three other term limit amendment bills failed to get more than 200 votes.
I'm surprised they even got 200 votes - basically they'd be voting for themselves to be chucked off the gravy train.

The stable genius is likely to lose his rag when he sees this.

Fox News poll shows Trump losing to Biden on "mental soundness"
Fox News poll shows Trump losing to Biden on "mental soundness" | Salon.com

Also I read earlier and can't find the article now but apparently Roger Stone is telling Trump if he doesn't win he should declare martial law and arrest journalists among others.
Stone reckons if he doesn't win the election was rigged and he's saying now the Nevada (I think) votes have already been rigged and when Trump declares martial law he shoulkd have the military sieze the ballots and destroy them
Wild stuff, If I find the article again I'll post the link.

Here you go. Welcome to facism U.S. style.

can't say if it's easy or not....but it's definitely ignorant.

trump's support has hovered around 40-43% for his entire presidency....long before biden or any other dem declared his/her candidacy.

they don't care that he constantly lies, cheats and steals...they're still going to support for him.

    sure.

    except for:

    access to affordable healthcare
    reproductive rights
    capital punishment
    sensible gun legislation
    taxes (particularly corporate)
    voting rights
    climate change
equal rights for minorities and LGBTQ
    immigration
    foreign policy
    etc....

but yeah, except for those minor issues....the two parties are almost the same.

    Trump supporters, Trump supporters. blah

You can't see it, but one could suspect that the Biden campaign would concentrate on likely democrat voters.

Or do they know that they fucked it up, and started the blame game already.

You forgot 2 that I think are important.
Environmental regulations. (clean water act etc)
And financial regulation (consumer protections )
    And much more I'm sure.
This ridiculous meme that the parties are the same is getting tired.

seriously, do you have a point you're trying make? if so, you're failing miserably.

they're up double digits nationally, above the margin of error in almost every swing state...and in the swing states they're not leading, they're in a statistical tie.

if any side knows that "they fucked it up and started the blame game already" it's the trump campaign....."i can only lose if it's rigged".

you're not very good at this are you, helge?

whatever country you come from, i'd like to suggest that you focus your future efforts on political commentary there.

they have starkly different platforms, and yes there is a significant difference when they're in power.

if you haven't been paying attention, it's not my problem.

edited to add....the GOP doesn't even have a platform anymore....and that's not hyperbole. it's fact.

just like trump and his campaign, i thought he would lose in 2016.
but they were the ones who had to write a victory speech on the night of the election....they didn't even bother to prepare one because they were convinced they would lose.
you're going to have to try a lot harder than that, helge.
