I think people have had enough "excitement" for four years. A bit of boring stability is quite appealing in comparison.

Yes, their heart's in the right place but they're hopeless at this stuff.
I heard John Oliver lambasting them for their slogan. 'Build Back Better'. Seriously? I agree with him, That's fucking lame.

I find it amusing that the Republicans have stuck to the 2016 platform because they literally have nothing to offer.

It offers such criticism as "the economy is weak" and "The US is no longer respected overseas".....

    Which is abso-fucking-lutely their fault.

I read an article a while ago that basically said the Democrats are crap at winning elections, but are actually good at governing, while the Repulblicans are great at winning elections, but crap at governing.

It fits. Same as the Republicans fuck the economy, Dems come in and fix it, Repubs come back and take the credit... Rinse and repeat.

The Dems are playing safe in the hope that the idiot loses the election for them but that’s lame.
    Sensible, logical and lame.

Tim Scott did a decent job as did Andrew Pollack.

Clear they have finally realized the virus is "the issue" so spent time on what a wonderful job Don and Mike are doing.

Also praise for the wonderful job they have done with economy of course omitting the fact they were riding on the back of a booming one inherited when they took office.

Whole session sprinkled with jabs about Dems being the devil who will take away all your rights. Normal stuff we've heard for decades from the GOP.

Played well to their base but doubt going to draw many new votes.

More of same to come tomorrow.

Thanks for the update. The typical right wing fear mongering. Nothing new so I skipped it. Waste of time.

I'm looking forward to Ivankas speech, it should provide a lot of amusement. "what?" "what'd you say?" "I can't hear you".

Weird that Trump has pledged to speak every evening, not just on the last day to graciously accept the nomination; not recommended, after the poor DNC performance he should want to coast with minimum exposure.

The sad enstupidisation of the USA has made shrieking horrors like that Kimberley gargoyle appealing to so many voters.
That idiots like Kanye and Kim have any status beyond laughing stock is an indication of how moronic so many people are.
A trump victory is certainly possible.
A last-minute manufactured crisis or self-promotion blitz could do it.

    Possibly.
Or rallying the ‘USA’-chanting apes around the flag if the new bitch queen of Korea gets cranky for example.
That could serve both of their interests.
