A majority of Democrats want to nominate New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo for president instead of Joe Biden, according to poll results shared exclusively with The Post.
The national poll found 56 percent of Democrats prefer Cuomo, with 44 percent wanting to stick with presumptive nominee Biden — a 12-point margin well outside the 4.8 percent margin of error for the Democratic sample

i've never claimed to be a psephologist, but this is an incredibly biased question that was obviously designed to reduce responses for biden:

Respondents were asked: “Based on what you know today, do you agree or disagree that Democrats should nominate Governor Andrew Cuomo for president instead of Joe Biden?”

but that's what you're going to get from an online poll that was commissioned and conducted by republicans.

Nothing sexist here but didn't Biden announce a few weeks ago that he would choose a female running mate?

Maybe Cuomo could do a quick switch, that would be nice, it's about time America had a tranny VP/potus.

Biden is going to be another secretive president like GW Bush, abusing the office and playing dirty international games with the CIA, will probably start a new war from orders of the Pentagon

Trump needs to win and stops that,

It's only natural that people would discuss it when you compare baldy orange cunto's self-aggrandising, dummy-spitting tirades against Cuomo's informative, rational briefings.

Given the current state of affairs, Trump should win in a squeaker.

Trump is such a master of the media. So much so that how can that thick-as-shit Biden hope.

Anyway I love elections and it should be a good one.

Sure he will win, by a landslide against what should be a non runner that the Dems should be ashamed to promote as their best, and no doubt to accelerated squeals by the usual suspects.

like nearly everyone else (including trump himself and his campaign) i was convinced he didn't have a chance in 2016....that being said/typed....

there is no way in hell trump wins by a landslide in november.

most likely is that biden wins with an electoral vote count similar to obama's in 2012....but with a massive popular vote margin upwards of 5 million.

    ok. fair enough.

briefly lay out the case for trump's electoral victory.

    here's how i see it....

after the last 3 years of chaos, there's little chance he gets the independent votes in MI, PA and WI....and also keeps down dem turnout in those states when biden has a much higher popularity rating than clinton.

keep in mind that he won the electoral vote by 77,000 total votes in those states....because dems stayed home...partly because they disliked clinton and partly because they (like everyone else) didn't think trump had a chance of winning.

    it's different this time.

people actually like joe biden instead of hating and not trusting clinton
dem voters aren't going to stay home because they think trump can't win....they now know it's possible. they won't make the same mistake twice.
some independents decided to take a flyer in 2016 to see what would happen....by and large they're not happy with what happened.

and let me add to that....

traditional republicans might not vote in 2020. they're as tired of the sideshow chaos as anyone else...and biden is a known quantity who will bring back stability to foreign, domestic and fiscal policy. they might not actually go out and vote for biden....but they just might sit on their asses and stay home.

Hmmm ... interesting, to me “traditional republicans” means socially liberal. You might be on to something. Just not sure if it’s as big of a group as those Democrats who chose to “sit on their asses and stay home” in 2016.

I agree with Ray - people who sat on the fence because of Hillary's personality and entitlement issues will come out and vote for Biden and Republicans who just wanted to vote Republican weren't ready for the Trump shit-show

Right on. We’re just talking about 80,000 Obama voters in 4-5 states really ... OH, MI, PA, WI being the main ones. IMHO anyway.

    Hi Storekeeper. Been a while.

Once Co-vid settles a bit the economy is going to be coming back gangbusters.

And that's a coat that Trump will be real happy to bounce around in.

I don't think those young Obama voters are going to flock around Uncle Joe.

Trump may be a son-of a bitch but he is your son-of-a bitch.

    The Dems shouldn't forget that.

The Dems give me the impression of wanting to eat their young.

You're partner in crime still about ? .....cousin, nephew...I can't
