With what is goung down now and will at a min continue through year end, if the Dems can't beat Trump in Nov they need to disband and start a new party.

Wouldn't be easy to start a new party in a two-party system, maybe they could learn from the Brit scam and simply rename it New Dem.

Unlikely, since they seem to be incapable of learning anything, which is why it wouldn't surprise me if they dust off and remodel Clinton as a running mate (goes without saying, watch out for spiked pits and falling safes).

The mainstream Dem party is just Republican Lite, anyway. Biden won't improve anything if he gets elected, but at least we'll have a shot at stabilizing the Supreme Court for the next round of replacements. Trump wins then expect more hardcore anti-progress fanatics. The religious, pro-corporate fanatics.

    Yup, too true.

It's a shame that some multi-billionaire (as that's what it will take) doesn't start a new political party that's a real alternative and actually sits left of centre, socially and politically without the unwashed masses screaming 'socialist/communist'.

A Green party perhaps that focusses on environmental issues and which the mainstream parties need to form a coalition government

That way it's rule by consensus, not winner takes all and screw 49.9% (or more with the pathetic electoral college destroying the democratic principle) for the next four years.

I see the Donalds approval rating for dealing with the virus is at 55%.
I knew he'd get the job done and be appreciated.

. . . and where do you see this?

I see his approval rating is 32% - pretty much his inbred base

A majority of Americans now approve of President Donald Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a new survey, as the administration has issued stricter federal guidelines in recent days and the president has adopted a more public-facing role in combating the disease.

Cannot wait the moment when Joe will take over the helm and bring the world (incl. his humble homeland) to a better future. Where were the electors looking in the last 40 years that they had not seen his ingenious doing and had not heard his wise speeches?

Do not ever underestimate the dumbed down corporate controlled idiocy that is the US political system. I am sure that an idiot like REPEATER666 will be along to spout the supplied talking points.

Current example, coming to a right-wing spam post near you soon, is that the Dems insisting on tighter controls on giving billions of dollars to corporations that have spent years avoiding taxes -- instead of, ooh say, normal every day people struggling -- is being spun by the GOP and their Fox propaganda arm as the Dems playing politics with peoples lives.

Also not forgetting that from the outset it was the Dems that forced Trump to up his initial paltry and inadequate response.

Trumptards including the poor who could benefit most will be repeating this mantra now without even blinking.

I guarantee you Scott here is a Trump supporter / voter, this is how these sick and twisted fcuks think:

Only 8 million people need to die to ensure that decabillionares don't become mere billionaires.

Watch how this becomes the mainstream view on the Trump right.

    trump only cares about trump.

and restarting the economy quickly is the only chance he has of being re-elected....if tens of thousands need to die for that to happen, then so be it.
