“Don’t you f*cking dare” Hillary Clinton told

Hillary Clinton has been told not to announce a new Presidential run in 2020 by absolutely everybody.
Following the announcement that Bernie Sanders is going to have another stab at the Presidency, several prominent Democrats immediately knocked on Hillary’s door to scream “NO” into her face.
“NO”, confirmed prominent Democrat, Chuck Williams.
“She’s very good, very capable, very qualified, but just no. She lost to DONALD TRUMP, for God’s sake. Anybody else with a modicum more likability would have won that election easily. But no, the ship has sailed. Write another book, if you like. That’s fine, but enough of the President stuff. Stop it. Don’t go near that podium in your garden.”
A spokesperson for the Clintons said, “Hillary is obviously disappointed to have been tied to a chair with a sock stuffed in her mouth to prevent her from announcing her candidacy.
“Bill pretended to be just as upset, but was in the car and off to shag someone else’s wife within about ten minutes. But that’s just lovable old Bill.”

    is breathtakingly idiotic.

adding to that is the fact that biden has 30% in that poll and he hasn't even announced he's running. if he doesn't, that 30% has to go somewhere....and it's probably not going to sanders who isn't even a democrat. a large portion would go to harris, but almost certainly some of it will go to warren if biden opts out.

it's also worth noting that polls a year out from the first votes are highly influenced by name recognition only. people know biden and sanders from 2016. many people in SC, NV and IA have never even heard of warren yet...and defaulted to the names they knew.

    and btw newbie dave...

quick US civics lesson newbie dave....those four states hold the first primaries and caucuses. how is it possible that someone who started this thread doesn't know that?

do yourself a favor and try to get better informed on US politics, because all you're doing now is willingly exposing your seemingly boundless ignorance.

    agreed.

in 2015/16 the republicans and clinton were stunned by his lack of decorum and school yard antics (in particular jeb bush)....now being able to throw a sophomoric verbal punch is almost a pre-requisite.

and i don't think trump can take a flurry of well placed verbal punches...he's too thin skinned.

You just argue. Debate requires intelligence and an ability to see the bigger picture.

    Obviously you lack both.

Case in point ... you claim that someone, 4th on the ladder of political popularity is worthy of serious contention.
You even try and expand that point of opinion to say that there were 'about 15 others behind her'

Ray ... she polled 8% ... 8% ... ... and that is against a guy who hasn't even nominated yet!

Show me the bookie site when I can bet that she WON'T become the next POTY and I'll gladly but your trailer home on it.

Come on Ray ... get cracking

The problem is the Dems play too nice.
He's given them LOADS of ammunition in the last couple of years, from his stocking the 'swamp' with even more voracious critters to secret meetings with Putin.
Lets hope they've got the guts to use it. Maybe someone can email them the link to this thread. They'll find plenty of reminders.

    poor newbie dave.

    https://fivethirtyeight.com/features...lling-part-ii/

from jan to june 1991, bill clinton was ranked 13th with a polling average of 1.7%. by dec. 1991 he only managed to make it to 8%...(here let me help you again)....8%.

guess what happened in november 1992, newbie dave? quick....google it.

ok....are you back from checking google?....undoubtedly feeling embarrassed, eh? but let's move on...

so yes newbie dave, i think someone ranking 4th in a poll for an election that takes place 21 months from now is a viable candidate.

but feel free to provide a single, reputable political prognosticator that puts her chances at 0%.

and no, newbie dave.....you're not even close to being a reputable political prognosticator.

i hope these ramblings mean something to you, because i can assure you that they don't to anyone who is even slightly knowledgeable about US politics and policy.

i'm feeling particularly magnanimous today newbie dave....so one final piece of advice....pick up and read a book about how the US political system actually works before stumbling and bumbling with these nonsensical posts you're prone to making.

not sure what's that's supposed to mean, but if you're referring to you displaying a modicum of knowledge and insight on US politics and policy.....well, that train has already left the station... without you.

in feb 2019 you claim warren has 0% chance of winning an election that is 21 months from now.

at a similar time in 1991, bill clinton was at 1.7%.....and didn't make it up to 8% until december....11 months before the election.

    stop digging, newbie dave.

    or don't.

"nonsensical" is not quite the word I'd use, which is not to imply something worse, just different.
And you again, today, refer to other's thoughts on matters posted, even after I pointed out that if your take on something is popular, it may not be smart.

and of course you stand by your silly prediction, newbie dave.

and that's only partly because you've posted yourself into a corner this afternoon....it's also because you have notably limited knowledge about US politics.

20 months out, it could be any number of people, newbie dave. take some time to review and study past presidential campaigns, and you'll find this is quite often the case.

what i do know for certain is that only a uninformed fool would say that a US senator who raised $26 million last year (and that was even before she announced her intention to run) has 0% chance of winning.

warren has blocked big donors from getting special access.

Warren’s new position is the most aggressive anti-big money stance taken by a candidate in modern presidential history — extending beyond Bernie Sanders’ 2016 strategy, a transformational moment in small-donor fundraising.

It will be an interesting test.

Washington State's Democratic Governor Jay Inslee has announced his 2020 bid for the presidential nomination, joining a lengthy list of contenders.

Mr Inslee, 68, will make climate change his number one issue, calling it "the most urgent challenge of our time" in his first campaign video.

He is the first governor to throw his hat into the ring, joining 12 other Democrats, including six senators.

The two-term governor has been a fierce critic of President Donald Trump.

"I'm running for president because I am the only candidate who will make defeating climate change our nation's number one priority," Mr Inslee says in the video, released on Friday.

Bernie Sanders launches presidential campaign, says he is best prepared to defeat Donald Trump

    2020 US Presidential Race-10865370-3x2-940x627-jpg
Bernie Sanders launches 2020 campaign pledging to fight for "economic justice, social justice, racial justice and environmental justice".

Bernie Sanders has kicked off his US presidential campaign near the rent-controlled apartment where he grew up in Brooklyn to forcefully make the case that he is nothing like fellow New Yorker Donald Trump, proclaiming himself the Democratic candidate best prepared to beat the incumbent in 2020.

    Key points:

    • Mr Sanders positioned himself in opposition to Mr Trump's policies such as immigration and climate change
    • He called Mr Trump "the most dangerous president in modern American history"
    • Mr Trump responded by criticising socialism as being solely about "power for the ruling class"

During his speech at Brooklyn College, Senator Sanders called Mr Trump "the most dangerous president in modern American history" and said the US President wants to "divide us up".

Ironical, coming from someone who imagines he's the emperor, gives tax cuts to the rich, despises the poor, claims he can pardon himself for his crimes, ...etc etc.
