Some of these candidates have been angling for cabinet positions since the beginning. Part of the dog and pony show.
Wonder what Mayor Pete and Klobuchar wanted for their Biden endorsement.
Jaysus, they've just shown a clip of Biden trying to quote the "We hold these truths to be self evident".... he fucked up so badly it was reminiscent of Bush Jr. and his "Fool me once..." debacle.
Maybe he *can* win.
jesus, what a nightmare that would be.
if bernie was thinking....hey, how can i blow up the party even more...i know, i'll pick gabbard as my VP.
i don't think abrams/harris/warren would be interested and i think he's going to have trouble finding someone well known and reputable to be his VP.
Sanders will end up with the booby prize, a proud Socialist piping the young and ill informed with promises of heaven, and aside from his hard core that hate what America represents, his followers would see through his rhetoric once it came under closer scrutiny; you can fool even the foolish only so far. If he won, the market would crash just as it would have if the other nutter Corbyn had won. I give him close to zero chance against Trump, and it's looking as though his own party would happily attend his funeral.
Biden's pasted smile won't see him through; he's carrying a truckload of baggage that should cause him to stumble badly in any head to head, and that's without his inability to string together more than a very basic sentence.
According to the latest betting, Biden is a slight favourite over Sanders to win the nomination (11/5 vs 13/5), while Sanders is more likely than Biden to beat Trump (10/3 vs 5/1). Poca is an effective non runner, standing at longer odds than Clinton (90 vs 40) to be beaten by Trump. A tossup between tossers, while Bloomberg looks the best value bet, to lose/beat Trump at 9 and 14, though if you ask nicely and promise to pay with real money they would probably stretch those odds a bit.

so much to disagree with there, that it's impossible to know where to start.
But there's a lot to agree with.
Biden is a bumbling oaf and even baldy orange cunto will run rings around him in a debate.
Bernie will scare too many moderates (who probably won't have read the fine print of his policies).
Bloomberg is the best chance to beat the bald orange wanker, he has the resources, plus he can and will openly ridicule baldy orange cunto in a debate and that would be comedy gold.
and the reason i think mostly everything in your post wrong is because you don't have an understanding of OR a feeling for the US electorate, and you're only parroting what you read online earlier today and yesterday. generally speaking, your posts don't provide any real analysis on the topic and they certainly don't indicate that you have any particular insight to offer. truth be told, they're little more than dumbed-down regurgitation.
So, in that case it's hopeless to try any further...
'We don't want him': Netanyahu, Israel envoy slam Bernie Sanders at AIPAC
An Israeli envoy on Sunday slammed leading US presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders as a "fool", telling the conference of a pro-Israel lobby that the Democrat is not wanted in Israel.
Sanders earlier took the unprecedented move of boycotting the annual conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), saying it offers a platform for "leaders who express bigotry and oppose basic Palestinian rights".
He has also denounced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a "reactionary racist".
Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon, a member of Netanyahu's Likud Party, wasted no time in denouncing Sanders as AIPAC opened its conference in Washington DC on Sunday.
"We don't want Sanders at AIPAC. We don't want him in Israel," Danon said.
"Anyone who calls our prime minister a 'racist' is either a liar, an ignorant fool, or both," he added.
Sanders, who would be the first Jewish US president, lived on a kibbutz in Israel in the 1960s and calls himself a supporter of the country but has voiced alarm at its rightward turn under Netanyahu.
Netanyahu has vowed to annex much of the occupied West Bank if he secures another term in elections Monday - the third time Israelis are voting in less than a year amid a political deadlock.
Addressing the conference by satellite, Netanyahu made a clear albeit unnamed swipe at Sanders.
"This year AIPAC was accused of providing a platform for bigotry. These libelous charges are outrageous," he said.
Calling Palestinians "the pampered children of the international community", Netanyahu voiced confidence that the US would recognise the annexation - in line with a controversial peace plan presented a month ago by President Donald Trump, a staunch ally of the Israeli premier.
"This will be a truly historic day. The map of Israel will change, the future of Israel will change, and it will change for the better," he said.
Howard Kohr, the head of AIPAC, which stands for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, warned of dire risks for the lobby's agenda in November elections, without naming Sanders.
"A growing and highly vocal and energised part of the electorate fundamentally rejects the value of the US-Israel alliance," Kohr said, saying the alliance's foundation "is in danger of being rocked as it has never been before".
'We don't want him': Netanyahu, Israel envoy slam Bernie Sanders
ok...
he's a democratic socialist.a proud Socialist
bernie's supporters don't hate what american "represents"...whatever that means....they're disappointed by certain aspects of what it's becomehis hard core that hate what America represents
people said that about clinton and obama...but markets perform better under democrats. and before you say, 'this time it's different'...try to remember that congress controls the purse strings. there are plenty of things on sanders wish list that won't get the required votes. If he won, the market would crash
according to all the polling, he has a very good chance of beating trump.I give him close to zero chance against Trump
biden's greatest asset as a politician is his ability to empathize with and relate to voters. people like him.Biden's pasted smile won't see him through
if he's carrying a truckload, trump's carrying a cargo ship.he's carrying a truckload of baggage that should cause him to stumble badly in any head to head
he's old, that's undeniable, but so is trump.his inability to string together more than a very basic sentence.
I have an old friend who I no longer talk to because he went down the trumpanzee wormhole and went bat shit crazy but anyway this guy was a millionaire who worked on Wall street for a big hedge fund when Obama was elected. He was so indoctrinated by right wing propaganda he thought that Obama would cause the market to crash as soon as he was elected. So he shifted all his investments to a massive bear strategy and braced for what he was sure would come. It never did. In fact the market started a massive surge that only recently came to an end due to the corona virus scare. Obama was directly responsible for the largest period of growth in American history.
So what happened to my high school buddy? He lost everything and drives for Uber.
Don't waste time giving attention to right wing horseshit propaganda it always is wrong.
Will the Israelis interfere in the US election? Oh wait, they always did
Bernie as with every pres will not get everything he ran on. He will have to compromise.
To some of his most ardent supporters he will be deemed a failure unless he gets 100% and not support when he runs for 2nd term. Trump will lose a few as well to this mentality.
I voted for Obama for several reasons but most importantly he ran on getting rid of the Patriot Act. He didn't but I give him passing marks for what he did do.
Bernie, Biden or Bloomberg will get my vote in Nov. May not agree with them on all issues but either will bring a measure of dignity and intelligence to the office.
Why is it everytime I see Trump on TV this pops to mind?
"Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect,"
exactly.
and his supporters need to have realistic expectations.
obama had 60 democrats in the senate...but still couldn't get a public option for health care.
agreed.
hey bsnub....who do you think bernie might pick as his VP? and what would your reaction be to him selecting gabbard?
If you want to see how bad he's getting, see if this twitter link works....
"We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created by the you know, you know the thing."
