^ what are the chances that the DNC decides that in the long run it's better to endure 4 more years of trump than have sanders transform the party?

i'm not saying they're going to do it, but i'd bet some establishment types spit balling it.

Another shit argument and an epic fail by you. List those 24 countries then David. I bet they are the 24 countries with the highest standards of living in the world. Ya but you still fail to see the connection.

Nope, I am being honest. Higher educated people, with degrees, generally pay higher taxes = ergo sum, it benefits the economy and contributes to the greater good.

Thanks for the map - yup, most are similar to the US, in terms of wealth and development

Exactly. Even on the right they should see the economic benefits. The truth is there is something far more sinister at work here. It is racism. The right in the US does not want the non white people in this country to have equal access to education.

The same is true as to why Gerrymandering and voter suppression is such a problem in the US south. In both Florida and Georgia the black candidates for governor of those states should have won in the last election but the previously mentioned actions prevented that.

The right in the US is a cancer of bigotry that wants to suppress not only minorities but the working class as well. Right now they are winning.

    Enjoy...

bernie seems to be ceding SC to biden...he's going to spend the next two days in MA....which could be an attempt to knock out warren.

will be interesting to see if pressure mounts on bloomberg to drop out before super tuesday if biden does very well in SC....because at this point he's basically taking votes from biden and ensuring that bernie gets the most delegates....particularly in a state like texas.

let's take a moment to reflect on the fact that a plutocrat republican billionaire might ensure that an independent/democratic socialist wins the democratic nomination.

Doubt it. I think Bloomberg will stay in until after Super Tuesday. His strategy from day one. Polls show he is not going to do well so figure he will drop out and endorse Biden.

$400 mil bet gone bad. Not much considering he is worth $62 bil.

but polls indicate that by that point it will be too late....if bloomberg attracts biden's moderate voters on super tuesday, bernie is going to clean up and nobody is going to catch him.

Reaffirming why the .001 is cancerous. Fox and Rupert Murdoch's media love to blur the lines between a guy who started his own business and these massive oligarchs. No comparison.

Yep and I don't think Bernie can beat Trump. Bloomberg not on SC ballot so suppose it is possible he will reconsider when the results come in.

Won't be long now but Dems better coalesce around a candidate PDQ or will lose in a landslide cone November.

You are wrong. The swing states that the orange moron won are traditionally union and democratic. They are tired of a mouthpiece like drumpf and will not vote for him again.

Forgotten to take in account Russia and all the countries of the former Eastern Bloc? That will change the figures substantially. That's why the literacy rate in those countries is almost 100%... see e.g. Education in Russia - Wikipedia

thanks for sharing another in a long line of unbiased posts about mother russia, comrade.

    now then....

if bernie only ends up with a plurality and it comes down to super delegates on the second ballot.....i'd be willing to wager that it goes to warren in what the DNC would consider a compromise. i also kind of get the feeling that she's gaming for this to happen.

gone too far mate. I really think Sanders is going to take California, Texas, and NC..... Unstoppable and speaking his mind promising what he believes in. Probably not in any way deliverable. But thats how Trump won 4 years ago, and continues to enjoy success. The educated young and Latino's are Bernies, now we are seeing the blacks, unions, and other undecided and Trump hating voters going that way.

Lets have it black and white this time...

When speaking about facts who needs unbiased posts, anyway? (Maybe the CIA is biased?)

A 2015 estimate by the United States Central Intelligence Agency puts the literacy rate in Russia at 99.7% (99.7% for men, 99.6% for women).[5] According to a 2016 OECD estimate, 54% of Russia's adults (25- to 64-year-olds) have attained a tertiary education, giving Russia the second-highest attainment of tertiary education among 35 OECD member-countries.[6] 47.7% have completed secondary education (the full 11-year course); 26.5% have completed middle school (9 years) and 8.1% have elementary education (at least 4 years). Highest rates of tertiary education (24.7%) are recorded among women aged 35 to 39 years (compared to 19.5% for men of the same age bracket).[7]

Compared with other OECD countries, Russia has some of the smallest class-sizes[8] and some of the shortest instruction-hours per year.[9]
Joseph Stiglitz, a former chief economist of the World Bank, has stated that one of the good things that Russia inherited from the Soviet era was "a high level of education, especially in technical areas so important for the New Economy"
    Education in Russia - Wikipedia

I would not dare to paste here the official literacy figures of (please no names here), to get it again deleted as happened some time ago...

I was on the piss by the time I posted that. Your comments and opinion is valued by myself sir so please to not withdraw from the dialog. Besides the DNC is going to find away to steal this thing from Bernie again and then most of his supporters will feel ostracized and will not vote in the general handing the orange moron another win. So I guess we are fucked either way we look at it eh Norts?
