Things are heating up in the democratic primaries now Bloomberg is drawing fire.

At these grilling sessions why is nobody asking the question everybody wants to know the answer to:-

Who is the daddy in Pete Buttigieg's bedroom?

I think this is pertinent information and a reasonable question to table in these debates..

I am not sure that a fella who likes taking it in the ass from another fella will get the respect that the position of POTUS requires given that many countries around the world are not as far along the cultural progress curve as we lofty westerners.

Would the conservative Vladimir Putin and the authoritarian Xi Jinping shake hands more easily with a pitcher than a catcher?

We have ticked the black president box and it is surely time to tick the shirt-lifter box but I think we need to ease ourselves into the new reality with a daddy-bloke.

will be interesting to see how warren's performance in the debate (she eviscerated bloomberg and scored significant body blows against sanders, buttigieg and klobuchar) impacts her results in NV and SC...and her super tuesday polling.

the establishment would much rather get behind her than sanders....and she has strong grass roots support.

so....once again....don't sleep on warren....she's not a long-shot and could conceivably get the nomination.

    -- US intelligence agencies say Russia interfered in the 2016 election, Trump (despite open calls for Russia to interfere) denies it;
    -- Feb 13, director of national intelligence Joseph Maguire briefs the House Intelligence Committee on Russian efforts to interfere in 2020 election;
-- Feb 14, Trump announces that Maguire would be replaced by Richard Grenell, a Trump loyalist, as 'acting director' thereby circumventing the requirement for senate approval

This sort of shit has just become rote and trivial under Trump. The more the US moves toward banana republic status the more Trumptards cheer.

"Appointed by President Donald Trump, Maguire became Acting Director of National Intelligence on August 16, 2019..."

People appointed by Trump have a habit of being either fired for doing their jobs or going to jail for being corrupt.

    Trumptards: 'Trump's draining the swamp!'

And lets not forget that his replacement is not an Intelligence officer in any way, shape or form.

Like he put Carson in charge of Housing, and Rick Perry in charge of Energy.

The stupid bald orange cunto doesn't actually care if they can do the job, simply that they will lick his revolting orange arse.

actually it's better to put outsiders at the top job instead of the usual insiders, or specialists

in most democracies, it's the best way to do it

France does it all the time, it's a great tool for progress and changes

Trump is delivering on all side, I can't believe how this guy is good at what he is doing despite being a complete idiot

it's like Frodo taking the ring to the doom mountain,

maybe true common sense is all you need to be a great POTUS

OK I am perhaps being a little facetious but in reality it does seem in some ways a reasonable question.

It is the question everybody conspiratorially asks concerning any pair of gay fellas when the left wing political gestapo are not listening.

It is bound to be the biggest globally shared joke question in history when the first fruity commander in chief is elected.

If the intrigue were defused by the couple in question using some kind of body language that conveys the sexual direction of the relationship then it might help.

Our viking friend probably is quite right about this . . . if Bernie gets the nomination half the population will be scared shitless of the 'communist' . . . the average American voter not knowing much about anything . . . but the Repub propaganda machine will ensure he'll be known as Bern The Red or Bolshevik Bernie . . .
If he doesn't then his supporters will sulk and not vote for anyone else . . . like they did last time.

Can't see Bloomberg going the distance, and don't reckon he even wants to be potus. But he despises Trump, has support in WS, and can afford to buy the nomination, all wasted because that takes him only so far as the insurmountable obstacle - he simply doesn't have the organisation to see it through, or the experience, knowledge and skills to run the country. NY major is not a stepping stone to the WH. He's clearly not an orator, or has the wits to survive without a prompter to prevent the rabble nailing him to the floor, more the back room type of guy that knows what's going on and how things work and does well from there; so why is he so popular? - because of his money and position not for dazzling social skills or profound thoughts. And for those that protested Trump was too old for the job, Bloomberg and Sanders could be his big bros.

So what if, what if he is preparing the groundwork for someone more suited to the position? Certainly not Sanders, Biden is dead, and I can't imagine anyone not even on TD takes pocahontas seriously, so who could it be with muscle, experience, ego, ambition, and support? Clinton? Makes sense, she could be his running mate, a ready made candidate, happens to be a woman so that's worth a few points in our mad world, no end of experience or support there, and never mind that once in the WH he would need to watch out for falling safes. But that won't be necessary because somewhere on that path she or her team would tell him if they haven't already, that he's not potus material, more VP, so let's switch roles.

Blimey I really shouldn't be up so early on weekends!

Sanders is a revolutionary, more like Corbyn or that catweazle bloke we had last century. He won't make the distance anyway, so why take that chance away from someone else and knobble his own party for an ego trip?

If he truly wishes to revolutionise American politics as he claims, rather than using that as rhetoric to lead on his young and naive voters, he would run as an independent. Never mind trying to reach the WH, he knows he will never get there without a presidential invite, as an independent his mission would be more realistic, simply to outpoll the dem candidate. Doing that would result in a greater revolution than seducing kids with thoughts of free everything if they waste their vote on him.

Absolutely agree - Sanders has some great ideas but I don't believe he appeals to the broad spectrum and definite not to the 'undecideds' or swing voters

err....that doesn't even address (much less answer) the question i posed.

    but let's move on.

i'm not sure what you mean by 'win the primary'...but i'll assume you mean win the nomination. we'll have to wait and see....and if he does, he'll likely have to do it at the convention, and DNC is not fucking around this year--particularly about down ballot. good luck to him, but i can guarantee you they're already cooking up myriad ways to ensure that he's not on the ticket.

and yes, if he somehow does get the nomination he might lose the election....and he might win the election.

but hey, thanks for your 'help' with that insightful post.
