Warren and Biden are fast slipping into obscurity. I'm not sure even moving into black states is going to help them.

Say what you like, but Biden's only hope is getting black voters out and the Obama card ain't working.

Joe Biden insists he still has a path to the presidential nomination. Others are having trouble seeing it.

The former vice president was viewed as the field's frontrunner until voters started casting ballots. Now a disappointing fourth-place finish in the opening Iowa caucuses last week was followed by a disastrous fifth-place finish in the New Hampshire primary Tuesday. The collapse of his support into single digits will not only make raising money and rallying supporters more difficult. It also raises questions about whether his campaign can survive until the Super Tuesday contests now three weeks away.

"It ain't over, man; we're just getting started," Biden told a campaign crowd in Charleston, S.C., where he headed instead of staying in New Hampshire. He struck a deliberately upbeat tone, emphasizing his commitment to African American and Latino concerns and noting the lack of racial diversity in the two states that had voted so far. "Where I come from that's the opening bell, not the closing bell, and the fight to end Donald Trump's presidency is just beginning, just beginning."

That said, if Biden doesn't score a convincing win in the Feb. 29 South Carolina primary – not impossible, but a challenge – his third bid for the presidency could be effectively over, and with it a career in elective office that has spanned six decades.

Biden: New Hampshire, Iowa losses raise questions on campaign's future

I'm not sure which level that's on, but he's right, you're an idiot on all of them.

Mayor Mike is outspending all of them.

    Added: And it's working.

Even as he stayed away from New Hampshire, the financial media magnate is now a strong presence in the race. He is spending more on TV and online advertising than any candidate in US political history, having already dropped about $350m (£270m) of his vast personal fortune – more than the entire budget of the Trump campaign in 2016. That effort is bearing fruit, as a national poll on Monday showed Bloomberg having moved from statistical nowhere to third place on 15%, behind Sanders and Biden. Another survey showed Bloomberg beating Trump by nine points, a wider margin than for any of his Democratic rivals.

There aren't many black voters in New Hampshire nor Iowa, though. We'll see

It may be working with some, but Bernie supporters are put off by Bloomberg and if he wins the nomination, they won’t show up, and we’ll be dealing with 4 more years of the orangutan in chief.

Cretins. But that also falls squarely on Berne's shoulders for not pushing them to vote irrespective of the nominee

if biden finishes top 3 in NV and easily wins SC, he'll be calling himself the 'comeback kid'....FWIW, right now he's a strong 2nd in nevada (the culinary union is crushing sanders on M4A) and he's got a 10 point lead in SC.

bloomberg's only hope is that biden goes down in flames and he can buy the nomination at a brokered convention....which more than likely leads to a 2nd trump term.

fun fact: there are more african americans in SC than the total population of NH.

btw, nevada will be debuting a new app for their caucuses....but they're not calling it an 'app'.....they're calling it a 'tool'....and who developed it & how it works is a secret.

I'm not sure why Biden did so badly in the Iowa caucus and the NH primary but he'll do better from now on, I'd suggest

me either, but probably a combination of poor organization and a lot of far left dems in both states.

Biden especially is banking on their support. Although in fairness, as long as they can get out and they have somewhere accessible to vote, I'm sure they'd vote for anyone to get rid of baldy orange cunto.

Or the fact that he comes across as a blithering old fart in the early stages of dementia and his sole election message is "I was Obama's VP".

Andrew Yang has pulled out of the race. The prospect of a free grand a month obviously did not outweigh coronavirus.

Oh and Michael Bennett (was he ever in it?).

    Cretins,eh?

You have to consider the fact, that perhaps a number of Sanders supporters wouldn't have participated in the primaries if Sanders hadn't been running.

I don't know who is eatable for Sanders people, but Bloomberg....bon appetit

I doubt they have much in common

That is true, but they become irrelevant if they don't vote for the 'finals'.

Similar to if Germany go out in the semi-finals I'd want Denmark to go on to win, not England/Argentina

Opposite sides of the spectrum, true . . . Warren would be the closest with Biden coming in at Sanders, 0% alcohol, but still a beer

US media tries another ‘Bernie blackout’ after New Hampshire win, but their game is not working
    Danielle Ryan
is an Irish freelance writer based in Dublin. Her work has appeared in Salon, The Nation, Rethinking Russia, teleSUR, RBTH, The Calvert Journal and others.

Bernie Sanders won the New Hampshire primary, but it appears this is such a hard pill for US media to swallow, that they’ve simply decided to ignore it — or at least frame it in a way that somehow makes winning sound bad.

Perusing mainstream coverage of the night, the casual observer of American politics could be forgiven for thinking a nice smiling lady called Amy Klobuchar was the star of the show. In fact, the avidly centrist Minnesota Senator came in third place — yet she gobbled up a disproportionate chunk of news coverage.

Incredibly, some of the night’s headlines didn’t even include the word ‘Sanders’ at all. “Amy Klobuchar gets her moment in New Hampshire,”gushed CNN. “New Hampshire gives Klobuchar major boost, puts Biden and Warren on 2020 life support,” Fox News wrote. “Pete Buttigieg finishes second in New Hampshire primary, Amy Klobuchar third,” a tweet from Reuters read.

Sorry to be a bother, but does anyone know who actually won? Is “strong third” the new first? Is that how this works now? Apparently so, according to MSNBC.

Corporations do not want to pay a fair share of taxes. Bernie is "He who must not be named" for them.
