The problem with the electoral college is unfaithful electors who don't vote the state popular vote. So even though Biden may have won a particular state the electors aren't obliged to vote along the lines of the electorate.

Some states have laws about "unfaithful electors".

Hillary lost because of the electoral college. In some states it might take 150,000 voters to elect one electoral vote. In others (e.g. California) it takes about 3 million. Most California votes are effectively "wasted", but they count towards the (meaningless) popular vote.

Could it happen again? Sure.

Where did you come up with this? You are wrong. I still do not think you know exactly how the electoral college works. Ya it sucks but it is not because of faithless (not unfaithful) electors.

The vote is so close in Georgia. Trump 49.6% and Biden 49.2%! Still some uncounted ballots in both Trump counties and Biden counties. What a nail biter.
