Trump has just claimed that he moved the capital of Israel to Jerusalem for Evangelicals and that he will win the election and then should get another four years...

Apparently, and I've no opinion on any of this, just what I picked up from someone who knew someone who once met an evangelical, the evangelicals support Israel and Jerusalem as its capital, because only when both are established is there scope for a couple of other conditions to be met (not sure which) before Armageddon can kick off. Also not sure if it's a physical or moral decay that's supposed to do us in, but they would like to hasten it along.

According to google, between 6% and 35% of Americans are evangelical depending on definition, and globally one in 4 Christians. Pence is one, which may be why Trump chose him as VP to secure millions of votes.

So for them it's always been Jerusalem, even though our term for the end times is derived from the Greek for the biblical catalyst, Megido.

If I remember correctly, a lot of Jews don't think there should even be an Israel until the Messiah returns, although if he's an Arab they'll probably execute him.

That is correct. They expect that there will be a huge war in Israel/Middle East and during that war to end all wars massive amounts of people will die and that is what will cause the rapture in which god will come down from heaven and collect all the evangelicals to bring them to heaven and the rest of us will burn in hellfire.
