China, which claims Taiwan, is now shocked by its F-16V fighter jet deal with the US. Even the Chinese government’s propaganda newspaper Global Times has warned that the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) is increasing its capacity and will take military action if needed. Not only this, the newspaper quoted experts as warning that its warships could destroy Taiwan’s airspace and that the American F-16V would not even fly in front of them.
‘Can’t even fly F-16V’
The Global Times quoted China experts as saying aggressively, “F-16V fighter jets may be a threat to PLA but PLA has J-10B and J-10C fighter jets in its collision and and J-11. They cannot even face it, what can be said about J-20. ‘ Experts also said that PLA would destroy Taiwan’s airfields and command centers if force reinvention was attempted and the F-16V would not even get a chance to fly and those who were already in the air would not have room to land Will get$ 62 billion deal
Indeed, to deal with China, Taiwan on Monday signed a deal with US arms manufacturer Lockheed to buy a $ 62 billion F-16 fighter jet. The deal will be completed in about 10 years. Considering the sensitivity of the deal, the US Defense Ministry announced the deal but did not reveal the buyer’s name. On the other hand, people associated with the deal have confirmed that a huge deal of $ 62 billion has been done with Taiwan. Under the new deal, Taiwan will initially purchase 90 fighter jets equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and weapons.
‘America steps on the red line’
The Global Times described China’s military exercises as a response to the US provocation and Taiwan’s regionalist approach. The newspaper says that the US has stepped on the ‘Red Line’ on the question of Taiwan, which has created a situation of confrontation. Experts in China have said that the PLA is not only preparing to postpone it but is also trying to strengthen the capability of military action if needed.
Warships will go into airspace
Quoting to Chinese experts, the Global Times has claimed that PLA will continue to develop advanced weapons and equipment and further increase the military gap with the Taiwanese military.
He has also warned that during future military drills, warships will also go to Taiwan’s airspace if needed.
