I get the feeling you consider yourself an 'academic'.
Thing is you just come across as another twit who thinks he's uncovered some great truth that no one else sees.
But rather than impress us with your brilliant thoughts on the matter you just post links to other people's thoughts on the matter which just makes you look like you're trying too hard.
I suggest that if you want to be thought of as an intellectual /academic you put some effort in.
“If we stop testing right now we’d have very few cases, if any.” Donald J Trump.
Defining academics and scholars is very loose-based these days.
Question everything. Challenge everything.
a cartoon history... how very American
With life tips from Earl, Tuskegee Ben and Jeff we really are spoilt for choice.
The internet is rife with Russian trolls planting fake news stories, creating conflict and generally stirring up trouble.
Am I the only one to get the feeling Tuskegeben is really Ruskiegeben?
Has our little corner of the internet been discovered and infiltrated?
Is Ruskiegeben in fact a Russian bot/troll trying to influence our opinions and create discord?

Thanks. (took me a minute)
It's no small wonder, any more, how working-class American people have totally lost their country.
Obviously, there is a (“rag-on-TB, at every given opportunity”) constituency, that simply does not comprehend
the plain English defined differences between the adjectives “academic” (student), and “intellectual” (contemplative, problem-solving thinker). Tuskegee Ben is a perpetual student, only,
and makes no further claims.
In fact, TB was simply attempting to share recently obtained information with those fellow U.S. citizens (on this platform). As a compatriot U.S. citizen, I was just presenting a fresh perspective
to those who seem obsessively convinced, that some poor Muslim farmer (living in the Persian Gulf region), is (somehow) the Jihadist “sworn” enemy of the American people,……..NOT!
Then again, people who are “innate”, self-loathing bigots, are always in search of a “target”, by first deflecting anger from themselves, and then redirecting their hostilities toward the selected. TB happens to be the
currently convenient target, for the constantly present, menagerie of posters, who live their lives, on this platform.
That ^ “red_necked” behavioral trait, is a topic covered, extensively, on every college campus. It's a course, entitled ~ "Human Growth & Development", vis-'a-vis, Psychology 101.
Thus, red "rep" Tuskegee_Ben to your little heart's contents. It'll probably be the best sex, most of you losers have ever had, in all your pathetically designated lives.
So,..have @ it, and enjoy. And a nice person’s day greeting, to..... y’all

So says Ruskiegeben.
I watched the whole cartoon and thought it packed a pretty good synopsis of the banking industry for the last couple of hundred years.
All material was presented in a crafty way using a Back to the Future theme to recount the past events.
I'm of the opinion that every eighth grader should watch this in economics 101.
Financing both sides of the war was brilliant, however a morally wrong way to gain power in my book.
I guess we'll wait and see if the ending scene from the film Spartans plays out in our lifetime. I can't imagine that someday it would not eventually.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't waiting for another bust cycle. The last project I picked up was 1/3 of todays value including interior renovations and
a brand new roof.
I call that a bargain, the best I ever had.
(The Who)
I can't help but imagine that if the "great financial crisis " was solely an American problem folks would not only be kicking TB for this content but salting the deep cuts the average seppo now lives with for lack of sound fiscal and monetary prudence.

Thank you, sir, for making an academic contribution to the topic thread, at last. It's a real tragedy, the average person doesn't see the hand-writing on the wall.
Just now had a VPN chat with my son, who reads TD posts from UAE. He's advised me to "cool-it" with trying to wake people up. Indeed, considering the previous
number of negative (off-topic) responses to the thread, apparently he has a valid point. Again, thank you, sir. Your perceptive point of view is duly noted. Cheers.
