How is hiring hookers misconduct? They need jobs after disasters just like anyone else. Greed is the crime why couldn't he simply have hired one? Although agreed a bit dodgy in Haiti with Aids etc.

Possibly the only occasion that Oxbang has efficiently passed aid money to a poor person.

What you do when off the clock is your business, surely, unless you're employed in sensitive security areas.
What an employee spends his money on is no reflection on the employer.
I'm no fan of Oxfam with it's heavy-on-clipping-the-ticket farcical charity, but whatever they pay their staff, it's up to the staff what they do with it.
Do people expect Oxfam staff to work for free?

Slightly conflating two things there. Should they be paid? Sure.

Should they fuck whores in a disaster zone they were sent to to provide humanitarian aid?

    Probably not.

SCANDAL-hit Oxfam failed to warn other agencies about staff using prostitutes in earthquake-stricken Haiti - standing by as they took jobs helping vulnerable people in other disaster zones.
Shamed charity boss Roland van Hauwermeiren, 68, resigned from his lucrative post as Haiti country director in 2011 after the 'Caligula-style' romps were flagged up to Oxfam executives.
Oxfam's Haiti director Roland Van Hauwermeiren, 68, admitted using prostitutes - and went on to work for a charity in Bangladesh for two years
But he was allowed to head up the Action Against Hunger operation in Bangladesh for another two years.
A spokesman for the French charity said Oxfam "“did not share with us any warning regarding [his] unethical conduct, the reasons of his resignation or the results of internal inquiry”.
A spokesman said: “Moreover we received positive references from former Oxfam staff who worked with him, among them a [former] HR person.”
Yesterday it was revealed by The Times that Mr van Hauwermeiren and six other men left the charity after getting caught using prostitutes, downloading “pornographic and illegal material”.
Oxfam chiefs paid for sex with underage prostitutes in earthquake-ravaged Haiti
A damning internal report concluded: “It cannot be ruled out that any of the prostitutes were under-aged.”
Mercy Corps - which handed a job to one of the culprits - said it had received a positive reference from Oxfam in 2015.
And Cafod suspended one of its Philippines workers after learning that he had been dismissed by Oxfam for using prostitutes in Haiti.
A further two charities - World Jewish Relief and Acted - hired men involved in the scandal and claimed to have not been alerted to any concerns.
A global aid plea was answered following the quake that killed 220,000 people, injured 300,000 and left 1.5million homeless
Wadner Pierre, from the Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti, told The Times: “It is disgraceful for humanitarian workers to be using Haitian girls as sex workers while they were supposed to protect them.
Taking advantage of potentially under-age girls during a natural disaster such as the 2010 earthquake is a crime.”
Waterstones, which has a corporate partnership with Oxfam, described the disclosures as “inexcusable”.
Last night former aid Secretary Priti Patel demanded police prosecute the seven Oxfam aid workers in a blistering attack on the “woeful” charity.
A 'full-on Caligula orgy' with girls wearing Oxfam T-shirts was filmed in the Caribbean island’s capital Port-au-Prince in 2010, sources claimed
The ex-Cabinet minister said it was "disgraceful" Oxfam had allowed three workers to resign and had merely sacked four others for gross misconduct after the allegations.
She blasted: “We have sex tourism laws that apply overseas and those laws should be applied. As for Oxfam their actions were and are woeful.
"Their hypocrisy on aid has once again been exposed.”

Oxfam is a business not a charity, look at the salaries for those at the top. Wouldn't give them a penny.

Have you ever given a penny to any charity?

Doesn't really seem like your kind of thing.

Perhaps you're completely different to your online persona though and you recently organised a bring and buy cupcake event for a worthy cause.

You really are one sad lifeless pathetic excuse for a human being, you are like some nosey gossipy old woman. How about you start with your charity exploits before enquiring what others do. But then again being poor and potless I suppose charity doesn't even cross your mind other than being another subject to post more of your tedium.

You draw that conclusion from me stating Oxfam is a business not a charity and I wouldn't give them a penny. All the while forgetting to mention what a philanthropist and major charity donor you are. As I said you are a pathetic tedious boring cvnt. Added to that a nosey, gossipy old woman.

So come on simple Sybil seeing as you are so interested in others lets have a list with figures of your charity donations.

Yeah, I pay tax to fund your income support and housing benefit, you snivelling illiterate dillitante. In this virtue-signalling comfashion pissing match you seem to want to start, will you call for a re-run if you don't win?

I don't believe in supporting corruption, armed gangsters, and sexploitation though. [obviously, I pick left-wing sources, so that you don't deploy the fallacy of the poisoned well to dismiss the concerns]

Because society holds vulnerable people to be deserving of special protection. Its why society frowns upon f*cking kids and the mentally handicapped.

Prostitution is borderline. A woman chained to a bed would be a "no", a woman who choses to fuck for money would be a "yes".

For most right minded people, a woman in a disaster zone or a war zone would be considered as deserving of special protection - starving or desperate people do not have the luxury of saying "no".

Sorry baldrick -you either get it or you don't.
