I'm not saying that the RCC did not do a lot of bad things during it's history, but, you cannot claim that they are not Christians. Some of their actions could not be considered Christianlike in this day and age, but, they are the largest Christian church in the world today.

Peter was entrusted to carry on and establish the church. However the church established was not the RCC. RCC came later when so called christians wanted to apease Rome and get along. The real christians continued on until today and have never been part of the RCC. The RCC and some people may call them christians. Real christians have nothing to do with RCC and their evil.

The true church started in the Book of Acts. A careful read of the book indicates what the one true religion should be like and how we should worship. In fact using this one book of the Bible you can determine which religion, of the many on earth, is the true religion. Most people won't read or accept what the Bible says, but, they will pay attention to the crap put out by RCC. A person can read and follow any history book they want. Unless they start with the Holy Bible, they are on the wrong path to start with.

^^^^ a sect of Manichaean Gnosticism, and they have sod all to do with any current Christian groups beliefs. For the record the particular group referred to here is the Albigensians, a medieval Gnostic sect. They believed the material universe was created by the evil one, Ialdabaoth, an emanation of Sophia (wisdom) which came to believe it was god. The Albigensians believed that Ialdabaoth, immature, insecure, and psychotic, was the God of the Old Testament and refused to have anything to do with him, for this rank heresy they were annihilated by the Catholic church in the Albigensian Crusade. They believed anything material was corrupted by evil but that humanity was animated by a shard of the original creator's spirit which was the only part of the material world which had not been corrupted by Ialdabaoths madness.

Sir Burr and DrBob, I am not refering to the group you are talking about. I'll come up with the information, but not tonight, too sleepy. Later.

OK, but remember that there was over 1,000 years between the time of Acts and the time of the Crusades. It was unlikely to have been the same group of people.

It must be the religion of peace because 1.2 bn muslims + dozens of infidel supporters can't all be wrong and if they were it doesn't matter because we got peaceloving ray and he says it is.

But, but, ray can't be all that peace-lovin' as evidenced by his criticism of Nick Berg who was only trying to make a living and got his head chopped for his pains.

    The Trouble With Islam

    Its not the
    Religion.
Its the arseholes who make up their on interpratitions and rules of said religion to seek their own sick fantasies, and coerce others to follow in the name of that religion

This is about Islam, so I put it here: These people just have to bring their religion to the countries they immigrate to.

"Some Muslims take their religion very seriously... as this little tyke found out when she
accidentally stepped on her Moroccan teacher's prayer mat as he was bowing to Allah."

How can anybody defend these barbarians?

If the bastard who did that to that little girl was here I would take a massive shit on his prayer mat & then stand by & watch him say nothing in case he got his head kicked in.

They only behave like this when they have got loads of back-up.

Imagine if he had tried tried to hit that little girl in front of any one of us?

His feet wouldn't have touched the floor.

I believe they're allowed to do some duffing up on home turf and there are also religious guidelines admonishing them how to do so. As to beating up kids I can't say, though some hold the beliefs and lifestyle of their prophet with such esteem that a bit of attentiveness may be quietly acceptable.

Otherwise, as propounded by one of our resident nutters in the teddy bear thread, though many muslims subscribe to the concept of sensitivity to the cultural environment of one's host, unfortunately this only applies to infidels marooned in their whacko environs.

This from you own link Booners:

In fact, some Muslims actually celebrated the attacks, and not just overseas, but even in the offices of the U.S. State Department.
Yeah Muslims were dancing and filiming the 9/11 incident.
