Nothing like isolating yourself from both Europe and the US in one go. Not a good idea, but then this government weren't elected for good ideas.
The UK is on the slippery slope and there's no way back.

A bit like sanctioning Russia and then spending a fortune on their oil and gas. About as Pythonesque as it gets.

Brexit is happening, and even a change of government in UK is unlikely to affect it. You backed the wrong horse. Get over it and move on, like the majority of UK voters have.

The Withdrawal Agreement ratified by BoJo and his government of The Stupid, an agreement lauded by him to the country as a superb deal which proved he had ' got Brexit done ', incorporated an economic border established in the Irish Sea between UK and NI but which permitted seamless commerce between Ireland and the North of the island thus preserving the GFA as much as it was possible. Before BoJo ousted May as leader he supported her in her refusal to agree to such a border, as part of any WA, which she was compelled to do given she was then utterly reliant on the DUP Protestant MPs for her Commons majority. BoJo in fact went to Belfast to assure the DUP there would be no change to this stance in negotiations with th EU.

And then as leader of the Brexitory party he gained a huge majority in the subsequent election and promptly reneged on his assurances to the DUP who were now redundant as a political group facilitating a Tory government and immediately conceded the Irish Sea border as demanded by Ireland and the EU.

Despite the DUP losing their majority in last week's vote they are now boycotting Stormont and thwarting democracy until the Irish Sea border is dismantled which will undermine the WA.

Once again BoJo's lies have backfired but instead of his sordid private life suffering it is the country.

The thing is, that idiot Truss and the child lawyer masquerading as Attorney General, Suella Braverman who was only appointed by virtue of her support for Brexit, have stated that they are unilaterally abandoning the NI protocol and claiming such an action is legal.

This is utter nonsense. It is a clear breach of an international agreement and if they proceed with it then the WA will be suspended and Ireland will once again be at war if the DUP maintain their minority wrecking posture.

Brexit has yet to yield a single definable, tangible benefit but it has weakened the economy, threatened whole sectors of commerce, reduced GDP and devalued the £ and increased inflation that has been turbocharged by hikes to fuel and energy costs precipitating an inevitable period of stagflation (something I forecasted two years ago and more) .

I'm still waiting for that cvunt Mogg to let us know when his department will publish those alleged Brexit benefits.

In much the same way I'm still waiting to hear from the Brexit twats here what it is Britain is going to sell to the world that it couldn't before Brexit.

Quite amusing though how the knuckle dragging morons and the senile of the board still cling to their mania for Brexit Even though it is now widely accepted as a fucking disaster and the UK has still not yet implemented its import protocols having deferred them for another year because of the chaos it will cause.

I mean just how fucking stupid do you have to b to: give up unfettered access to a market of 450 million consumers 22 miles distant, to fuck up your labour supply for the hotel and restaurant trade, to fuck up your staffing for the NHS, to fuck up your SMEs in the food export sectors, to fuck up your fishing industry and to turn your agricultural sector into a fucking environmental theme park and destroying the entire market for beef cow production to boot.

^ Sausages, you continue to focus on the sort term but then that is the trouble with you remainers. As a Pikey surely you can see the benefit, a united Ireland has never been closer - now that would be excellent.

TromsoTwat, there is no long term Brexit benefit, it is a socio-economic blunder that was only ever supported by sclerotic rightwing cartoon nationalists using bigotry, prejudice and stupidity to peddle a manifesto pandering to the white trash Conservative electorate and the ignorant. It was always a manifestation of little Englander parochial jingoism and no-one of any intelligence took it seriously. And then in 2016 the lumpen stupid, the credulous and deluded, the merely addled and the racists combined to form a majority of the dumb.

Not even Farage or BoJo the Jackass thought it would actually happen such was the silliness of Brexit.

But it happened for one very good reason, the internet's social media has ensured demagoguery, deceit, lies and spurious propaganda are now effective weapons in usurping intelligence, truth and principles in promoting vested interests seeking power in circumstances otherwise not available to them. And in foreign terms the only beneficiary was Putin who wanted to undermine Europe's power.

It's been six years since that car accident and the shit is still dripping from the fan and STILL there has been not one single tangible benefit identified by anyone to show it was a success.

Fucking Hitler had at least his autobahns to show for nazism, what the fuck has Bojo got?

At least the silly cvunt has backtracked from that illegal breach of abandoning the agreed NI protocol.

Only a fucking idiot would still support Brexit.

But then, stupidity is the currency of our times, it is the lingua franca of the new era, The Age of The Stupid.

And the Brexit knuckle draggers and the senile of the board are truly its finest ambassadors.

Still, Brexit folk do have one redeeming feature, their support for it does identify them as idiots and therefore saves any redundant interaction.

^ still complaining i see, you really need to move on as the UK does. I am looking forward to the forthcoming cull of your fellow desk jockeys over the next few years, should help move things along.

In other news i was heartened to hear you've accepted the position you've put yourself in with the flat purchase in whoreville, i must say you should have done that much sooner rather than beat yourself up over such a silly life decision, you'll feel much better now.

    .
Always amusing to read the lumpen stupid using vacuous cliche as they struggle to express their ignorance.

You don't "move on" from a fucking car accident, you oaf, you suffer until you recover and you do that by healing but sometimes the damage is irreparable.

You silly fuckers have blown a foot off and you are going to walk with a fucking limp for decades.

And it doesn't matter how many crutches you use, you're fucked.

You've fucked NI, you've fucked the £, you've fuck'd business, you've fuck'd the economy, you've fuck'd the younger generations by curtailing their mobility and narrowed their horizons, and now you're about to fuck social welfare, human rights and Britain's international standing.

Brexit is a fuckup and you meatheads are nowt but fodder for Brexitory cvunts.

Move on?? You dumb fucks are dead in the water but you haven't the brains to see the rocks onto which your ship of fools is drifting.

You were undoubtedly a short-sighted unimaginative little man during your working life and the UK inside the EU suited much of the Civil Service, having a bunch unelected career Civil Servants making up rules for you lot to follow regardless of whether they were in the interests of the UK. The situation is different now, what is clear is how insidious the EU is, its like Leishmaniasis, not easy to shake off and always a risk of recurrence if not completely cleared.

Your fellow desk jockeys, the so called impartial Civil Service have proved anything but through the course of Brexit and i am looking forward to those cvnts getting a proper clear out. Ensuring all future senior civil service posts are advertised externally should help break the cycle of chinless wonders heading up Depts. We could do worse than privatise DVLA and the Passport Office as a start.

You simply have no understanding of anything very much, have you TTNumfuktwat.

i rather think I have a more knowledgeable and intellectually acute doorstop behind my bathroom door.

The legislature passes laws that are implemented by civil servants ( or quangos ) according to policies developed by ministers of state forming a government elected by a majority franchised by universal suffrage. This is the principle of governance operating in the UK and elsewhere throughout the EU.

No country runs by itself and in the league table of efficiency the British Civil Service is pretty much a lean machine compared to the US and others.

The thing is, most civil servants - 95% - operate the machinery of government nationally and the greater proportion earn a median salary of £30,000 per annum which is on par with, or less, than their private sector equivalent. Privatising them would have little effect except it would be more expensive for the tax payer who would now have to subsidise shareholders dividends paid out by the companies jumping on the typical Tory gravy trains in addition to the on costs, salaries, etc of the workforce.

But, of the 5.5 million or so public sector workers employed in the UK, only .4% are civil servants.

Thus, anyone with the meanest of intelligence will see straightaway that the proposed cuts of 90,000 posts will have a relatively insignificant impact upon the public purse and should therefore deduce that the Brexitory announcement is simply dog whistle shit for the Tory trash and their credulous demographic, a group to which you Numfuktwat so slavishly follow.

The point is, you are a fucking idiot too dumb to think for yourself and like all pygmy buffoons you invariably, and inevitably, prefer to dance to the tune of vacuous rhetoric, prejudice and bigotry, you squalid little factory worker.

The point is you have no clue about me and what i know, just what i've posted and your imaginings, you take this place and yourself far too seriously.

You being one of the civil servants you refer to and having retired on barely above the national average wage leads me to understand that the attitude and anger manifest in your posts are driven in the main by a sense of personal underachievement. This is further exacerbated by the crushing realisation that the final phase of your life is likewise framed and tainted by your poor life choices.

There you sit at your keyboard attempting to feel superior by imagining what a failure you think others are having already helped them understand precisely your circumstances and thus undermine any impression you are trying to project of yourself.

You dear chap are just too stupid to see it.

    Har har.

You have no clue about him either.

You’ve just invented a backstory for him, including the whimsical assertion that you’ve heard on the grapevine about him selling his condo.

It all seems quite unhealthy, and the projection is obvious.

Oh and try your hand at commas, ffs.

No matter how hard he tries, poor old Numfuktwat will always be what he is, a secondary modern oik born to a life of jig boring, tool turning and swigging ale in the saloon bar of mediocrity with his brethren bogans and other now wrinkled, fat bellied old soaks regaling each other with tales of derring-do in skanky Asian whore houses as they nurse crippled livers and dribbling bladders.
