That idiotic comparison is simply just more evidence in support of the reasonable contention why one should deride the Brexshit Kipper and treat anything to come out of their filthy maw with utter contempt.

It really is bit of a paradox that gormless 'Arry should now consider £30 billions to be a trivial sum yet one third of that, a mere £10 billions being the annual cost of the UK's EU membership, was considered by him and his fellow Kipper/Tory rabid loons during the 2016 campaign to be a gigantically, ginormous, huge burden that was bleeding the NHS dry.

Honestly, do you creeps not have any inkling into just how stupid you lot look when supporting such a manifestly imbecilic act as Brexit?

^^Imagine the outcry on here if it were Corbyn spaffing 30 billion up the wall, or indeed being given the run around and coughing up the cash every time Marcus Rashford finds the time to tweet.

PAG would be telling us how he was the most incompetent leader since the dawn of time etc. etc.

Such is the absurdly partisan approach of your average BREXITer, but ask them what the gains are and they oddly pipe down or resort to tired ad hom

The somewhat dreary reality is that most Brexiteers are just rather stupid people incapable of independent thought on issues not immediately associated with their base needs.

Didn't see that one coming. However, yes, the EU are insisting that Euro trading shares are conducted within the EU. Exceptions can be given through 'Equivalence' (New York, Hong Kong etc) in regulatory standards. This hasn't been granted to the LSE (yet) as inspite of the UK's FCA standards exceeding that of the EU, there has been the political decision to exclude the UK.

Trading is computer based, and can be done from anywhere, however the real question is where the actual money is? A look at the figures for profits on trading EU shares in London for 2019 amounted to 3 billion. As I understand it, it formerly cost UK financial institutions 3 billion a year in EU compliance costs whilst being a member.

SA keeps quoting the trading loss to the UK, i.e. 220 billion. This trade will still take place, tarrif free. Yes, there are additional administrative requirements such as customs declarations, health certificates, certificates of origin etc, however these exports will overwhelmingly be repetitive, and within a short while become routine. Of course there will be suppliers both sides of the Channel who don't wish to engage in the additonal administrative burden, but as ever it's a supply and demand world. EU suppliers will be equally affected as the UK, given theirs is the greater in volume and value, one would think that pragmatism will prevail and smoothing routines eventually being put in place.

The benefits of leaving the EU cannot be purely measured in monetary terms, although particularly during this pandemic, the UK making its own decisions in terms of support to industry and individuals without becoming part of a Brussels grand and costly scheme is a tick in the plus box.

Which is why all the orthodox and established economic pundits worth their salt are all agreed that as a consequence of these extra burdens and impediment to supply chains, re-erecting obstacles dismantled over a period of many years since 1973 that hindered trade, britain's GDP growth will be reduced by 2% and no amount of tub thumping by deluded Brexit doctrinaires drinking from the fount of Bozo bombast will compensate for that recurring loss.

But despite your glib and ignorant postulations, SMEs are not in a position to easily accept this dislocation to their trade and will suffer greatly as they adjust their product lines at a price level taking into account the diminution in profits triggered by this new and unwanted daft customs and excise regime adding significant costs to their operation. And to put it into perspective for the doltish Brexit cretins, British SMEs account for over 32% of all UK exports contributing over £200 billions annually to trade in goods and services.

Given that of the 10% contribution to GDP Britain produces through manufacturing, 49% is derived from trade with the EU, I rather think Bozo has done quite a lot in his ambition to "fuck business".

Indeed, you are right re. the COVID standard of excellence, the UK has now proved to the world it can kill more of its population through incompetence than any other in the EU.

    You fucking idiot.

The UK has the worst COVID deaths in the world.

It knocked the Czech Republic off 'top spot' at the weekend.

Not disputed. However, it also has amongst the best performance of vaccinations.

Indeed, and against the $ and baht too, which is particularly pleasing. One hopes more die and more UK businesses struggle, their demise seems to fertilise the £.

The pound is expected to stabilise now Brexit is over, but it won't be regaining its 2015 level any time soon, if ever.

i think his obsession with brexit and his increasingly insane utterances are slowly diminishing any semblance of intelligence the man might have had.

marooned in his condo in an all but abandoned city, the malls devoid of life, the restaurants, their tables once groaning with delicious delicacies now reduced to desperately hawking their product on trestle tables in deserted streets, the hotels empty, the bars and massage shops boarded up, the locals queuing up at food banks for little bags of rice and curry, doorways and alleyways strewn with the homeless and the hungry.

its almost as if the dystopian vision of a post brexit broken britain that he foresaw in his crystal ball is actually appearing on his very doorstep, cruelly taunting him as he looks on helplessly from his unsaleable lonely perch above the swaying palms, his unpredictable mood swings thankfully calmed by the soothing zephyrs of tranquility that waft in from pattaya bay, that sunlit crescent of ocean once alive with the joyous cries of happy tourists, but now home only to silent bobbing turds and the rancid filth swept in from the promenade.

as he prays for more deaths in the uk like some cat stroking bond villain in his secret eyrie , it's almost as if his brexit chickens have come home to roost.

As opposed to a rural bothy in a jungle clearing amid tribesmen scarcely able to conceive of a world outside their ignorance which is worth little more than the gold in the village elder's teeth.

The simple truth is of course nothing is selling in the LoS for an acceptable price in the current market but at least such illiquidity can be gauged as temporary whereas a commitment to the boonies is permanent and of no value other than as a place to die in peace.

    Enjoy.

Err, the BoT has again attempted to reduce the rising value of the baht as capital inflows continue unabated and the strength of the currency continues to reflect the burgeoning current account surplus that has permitted the second round of cash distribution among the populace easing the exigencies of those among the service industries but as yet the country is to manifest the extremis now felt by the British. Those charnel houses I hear in Engerlandia are bursting with their dead stacked like cordwood awaiting disposal, rows and rows of corpses stretched out in their makeshift morgues, rotting English cadavers oozing their corporeal slime from bloated skin sacks of blubbered meat scarcely more repellent than when life breathed upon their shiftless knuckle-dragging, tattooed hides, garbed in soiled tracksuits concealing cellulite ridden reservoirs of wobbling fat topped by lantern-jawed, gimlet-eyed pinheads housing barely functioning brains the size of shrivelled walnuts sustained by an endless diet of junk food, junk TV and cheap alcohol, a junk society communicating in monosyllabic monotony living like shadows in adoration of totemic consumer icons who in their wretched imagination they strive to emulate but fail hopelessly. How many died yesterday Tax in your sceptred isle lashed by freezing rain in endless deluges under slate grey skies feeding the waters that flood those dull suburbs and all the while the contagion eddies and flows around every corner, ditch and hollow seeking fresh carrion upon which its viral load can feast?

Yep, I'm really quite depressed Tax as I yet again took the air in another delightfully ambient 30c strolling the length of Wongamat's silvered strands under azure skies and then bathed for an hour exercising my bronzed and muscled body in the lapping tropical waves. And then in my deepening slough of despond I forced myself to go shopping in aisles festooned with victuals offering a varied choice of cuisines before playing tennis with the wingman and then watched a vermilion streaked sky darkening to navy hues in the setting sun as I sipped my balcony drinks waiting for tonight's dinner and I thought to myself, gosh I just wish I was in Blighty now.......waiting to die.........in the cold.........the wet.........among the decrepit huddled old, the poor......the increasing numbers of the desperate ..........the hopeless.
