Brexit teething problems causing a bit of chaos for the fishing industry. Lorries with fresh produce being delayed at the French border causing lots of waste. Still they voted for it so they'll have to take it on the chin with their rotting fish.

JRM thinks that fish are happier after Brexit...bless.

Gawd forbid that a politician might stoop to using humour in reply to a facetious question in parliament! I’m surprised the BBC haven’t accused him of talking to fish.

And as the adverse impact of the new import/export regime bureaucracy turning Britain's trading clock back to 1972 is now beginning to be felt across the board, the dull-brained Brexshit simpletons have yet to compute what a 20% decrease in trade means. Project Fear!! Oh, hang on, it's already fucking happened, innit. Just like the devaluation in currency now anchored at the now raggedy-arsd post Brexit level of 20% less than what it was before Brexit. And of course, since 1.1.21 around £3 billion more of UK funds has flowed out of Brokendownbrexshitbritain to the EU institutions.

Going back to dinosaur Tory lalaland has its price but the Brexit knuckle draggers are only now, after four long years of being told the fucking obvious, just beginning to see the light as it breaks through their blinkers of obduracy into what passes for their exceedingly small and uncomprehending consciousness.

Britain's manufacturing base is scarcely 9% of GDP but 49% of it was derived from EU trade. So by dint of what alchemy is Britain going to storm the world's economic bastions by fettering nigh on 50% of its manufacturing trade with its most significant economic partner only 22 fucking miles distant?

The stupidity of Brexit morons is almost transcendental.

And that wondrous Bozo deal relates only to trade in goods, and services have yet to be negotiated, a sector that accounts for 80% of Britain's GDP.

But never mind, a sesquipedalian addicted elongated streak of pretentious paralysed piss makes a bad joke about British fish loving British waters, a fucking idiocy only exceeded in its stink by the tons of fucking rotting fish piling up on Scottish quays and processing plants because a fucking inept Bozo hasn't got round to explaining the new trade protocols revived from an era that saw him yet to have his first wank.

Newsflash - Geriatric poisoned minds can’t cope with change. I would suggest that you move on, but sadly for you, that’s not possible is itcan’t can you?
You have had plenty of time to prepare for this obvious eventuality, but you chose to cry about it for 4 years instead. More fool you.

Can't cope with change? What, you mean in the sense I chop my own foot off and don't welcome the fact I'm now a uniped?

There is not a single measurable benefit to your ill-managed and deeply flawed Brexit. Why on earth would anyone with a functioning brain wish to accept an imbecilic act of national self harm simply because a herd of ignorant bozos voted for it.

You really are quite stupid and, perhaps more significantly, very, very dull.

    poor old s.a.

marooned and miserable in tumbleweed town, yelling at the clouds along with the few other hoary old expats who burnt their bridges, unable to use the facilities in their condos that their monthly service charges entitle them to, and regarded as nothing more than disease spreading lepers by a local populace brainwashed as they have been by a military dictatorship that views all foreigners as filthy, unwashed, untrustworthy and unwelcome interlopers into their precious utopian kingdom.

now they about to be fleeced yet again by ever more expensive and draconian regulations that will ensure that they are tested, monitored and recorded before being allowed to move around the kingdom, apps and police checkpoints following their every move like criminals in an exercise yard. preparations are already underway to make visa and health insurance requirements even more burdensome for the put upon alien residents and immigration officials are rubbing their hands in glee at the opportunities for financial gain this presents to them. just as well that the collapse of the pound that has supposedly been imminent for the past 5 years has not happened.

a truck driver dealing with a bit more paperwork at dover and calais will have it easy compared to the travails awaiting long suffering expats in post covid thailand.

So much so that it appears paying for a Covid test is going to be a condition for them getting their visas extended.

Imagine how much squealing there will be when SA has to undo the combination lock on his trouser pocket and withdraw some dust covered notes to cover it.

You really hate being reminded that you can’t move on. You are a bitter and twisted old fool without any cause for complaint. You are not even wanted in blighty, so there’s really no point in you whining about it constantly.

Ahh, but that's the rub, you simpleton oaf, 'Arry, it isn't over, it's just beginning. 80% of the UK's economy is services based and they were not subject to the recent exeunt agreement, several of which were given a grace period by the EU out of charity but will need negotiation in about five months time. The UK is no longer in any position to coerce the member states into anything now but are beholden to a superior entity in whose gift Britain's fortunes lie. You of course being an ill educated lout will need this new reality shoved down your weedy little throat before it sinks in but then, you are the lower end.

The COVID debt coupled with the Brexit GDP loss will ensure considerable tax rises in the near term and when the equity market corrects itself then those Brexit chickens will come home to roost with a vengeance.

Only the buffoons credulous enough to believe the windbaggery of the Tory right wing charlatans would actually think for one instant that Brxit is a done deal. Poor 'Arry, you're as stupid as the women who fell for Bozo's lying shite and probably as dumb as one of those deranged QAnon republican fuckwits sucking on Trump's dick.

    The penance is just beginning.

The EU is NOT a “superior entity”. You might think that, but you are consistently proved wrong. Like the EU, you are now irrelevant. No matter your specious claims found in mystic megs crystal ball. You, personally, are seriously fucked in the head.

The service sector, just like any other, might take a hit initially, but when the dust settles, serious investors will always prefer the knowledge and experience of a single sovereign state that is trusted throughout the world, rather than some conglomerate, rife with indecision, and plagued by serious leadership issues.

Err, Tax, it may be that in your 'bubble' isolation, amid the teeming masses of clog-hopping Neanderthals we know as ' northern tyke scum' and the festering millions of Asian immigrants lured into their bosom by long since gone factory work who now wallow in unemployment in your myriad slum towns riven with prostitutes, shaven-headed thugs and tracksuit bottomed feral filth, you have become more deluded than usual but might I remind you that whereas 10,000 English have corpsed it this past week alone in overflowing death houses where staff are now choosing who to let die because the lumpen English are too fucking stupid to comprehend how to self-isolate, I and my peers live sedately within a protected environment that has seen a mere 70 or so die from COVID in the entire year since the pandemic began.

And whereas my daily routine involves limitless walks along sun-splashed deserted tropical strands fringed by waving palms refreshed by the susurration of cooling zephyrs and lapped by cerulean seas, you are reduced to gawping out of a window at a winter dead vista of grey, leaden skies through streaked glass beaten by sheets of driving, freezing rain amid the ever present gloom of a sunless dystopia that shrouds your prison-like existence from which you emerge briefly to scuttle along darkened streets, beaten and huddled by the bone aching cold, to the corner Patel shop for your permitted exercise and back again to your tenement bothy to settle stupefied before a flickering screen playing out scenes of death stacked in makeshift morgues like some ghastly funereal Amazon depot distributing coffins to the local crematoria to be burned in celebration of the most incompetent government in living memory.

Yep, Tax, it's a real bitch.

Stay safe and watch out for those muggers as you slip, slide your way along the frozen dog turds to buy your bottle of Sterry from the local Reggie.

    Har, har.

Trust me there is nothing more depressing than listening to your incessant fucking whinging about a place that you don't even live in, seasoned with some more irrelevant whining about how you can't use your fucking pool loungers and have to take long walks instead.

You're basically just a fucking moaner. I wonder what you would be snivelling about if you ever moved?

I simply cannot bear the lower end who cannot complain because they either lack the skill to express themselves or are just too stupid to understand the iniquity of any given situation in which adversity and disadvantage are not challenged.

Essentially, as Vidal observed, there cannot be winners without losers and to that end a stupid lumpen lower class, so ably represented by you ditch digging oiks, will always ensure successful exploitation by the few at your expense.

In short, accept your lot in life and enjoy the shit sandwiches, eh, dumbo?
