And I'm still waiting to hear from the swivel-eyed loon what he thinks Britain will now sell to the world that it couldn't before Brexit.

Well the stage is now set for BoJo to do what he's done throughout his entire political career.

Pathetic climbdown sold as skilfully engineered victory on the way.

The end of the transition period and a step into the supplemental period. Nothing more than a time to ratify the agreement.

    Honest Guv.

You are all so invested in remain, you seem to have missed the point. Particularly those who insist on future suppositions.
The issue affecting markets is more powerful in this climate of constant change.
Check the markets and foreign exchange rates. It seems that the vaccine is having more impact than any of your belligerent socialist attitudes.

Is it fair to say that Britain soon will be more independent, than it was for the last 47 years ?

    I mean,"sort of" more independent.

    The vote has been cast.

    Life goes on

    Nevermind
    Carry on

    Interesting debate

There was a fantasy peddled by the UKIP/Tory Brexit loons, one of many it seems, that Britain could forge a clean break from the EU and re-establish its former empire status and straddle the globe like some post colonial trading colossus that had been held back by 47 years of kowtowing to a coterie of EU panjandrums whose only function was to subjugate English people.

What we are now witnessing from BoJo the Clown and his rabble government of nonentities, thieves and the merely incompetent, is a resurgence of that pixie-dusted delusion as yet again BoJo says a no-deal Brexit will have no effect and Britain will prosper mightily.

It really is quite insane but somewhat typical of the times we live in during which The Stupid have the ascendancy in modern Britain.

Whereas the US has finally shucked off its loathsome skin of Trumpism and restored decency and competence to its governance, Britain has four more years of its current buffoon, a short fat congenital liar who can't keep his dick in his pants whose only doctrine is to indulge in narcissistic posturing.

Britain is now certainly more independent, but independent in the sense a masturbating autist locked into a world of delusional fantasy might be.

As you ignored post #19480 I shall do the same with this.

It is not my job to educate the foolish, bitter twisted old farts such as yourself. Especially when you are in denial.

Well, at the last count, about £250 billions worth of unfettered trade with 27 EU member states including over 47% of UK's manufacturing output.

    You fucking idiot.

Such stunning repartee deserves a response.

I just can’t be bothered with ineffectual boneheads like you.

What change do you believe might come about due to your puerile invective?

You answered a question I did not ask. Still, I suppose you're on your third sundowner by now. Watch the balcony doesn't disappear from in front of you. Har har.

    Exciting isn't it?

The fate of the British agricultural, fishery, processed food and manufacturing industries is hanging in the balance dependent on the whim of 60 ERG right wing Tory fanatics and their puppet cabinet led by a clown.

Despite the head of Britain's National Farmers Union declaring that a no-deal WTO exit will be ' catastrophic ' for the farming industry the Tory minister 'Useless' Eustis says the effect will be negligible and any price change to food will be marginal.

Surely, the most clueless and incompetent government in modern British political history.

If as some are now saying there will be no deal then the Internal Market and Finance Bills reneging on the WA will proceed through parliament this week leading to open conflict between Britain and the international community.

BoJo is heading for total isolation.

And just wait until the English stupid wake up to realise they can't stay in their EU holiday homes for more than 3 months in any 6. The Daily Mail ran a story last week articulating the ignorance of its moronic readership still trying to process what the end of free movement meant.

    What larks, eh?

If they fuck this up then the exchange rates will screw £ and the impact on WTO based trade is going to hammer the lower end. Inflation is inevitable and the peasants already facing wage freezes and tax rises are going to go crazy once they get their tiny little minds around what voting for the loony Kipper/Tory extremists actually means.

Oh, and what about those leading lights of the ERG fruitcake wing, messrs. Lawson, Redwood and that streak of paralysed piss, Rees Mogg? The latter two shifted funds pretty smartish to Dublin in 2018 and of course Lawson has filed for permanent residence in France where he owns a substantial property.
The stink of their rancid hypocrisy is vile indeed.

Do some Google-ing and you will find that Jim Callaghan is way ahead along with Gordon Brown.

    Utter nonsense.

This whole clueless dive off a cliff is setting records for idiocy.

And for some of us, we actually have memories...so no need for google.

There appear to have been several climbdowns today by the UK but not enough for a deal yet.
