    Brexit - It's Still On!-_115478717_679ff1ec-dec2-4b43-b2d0-e3bc4e61c3dc-jpg

Cummings has packed his cardboard box and left No 10...Hoorah! Hoorah! The rats are leaving the sinking ship. Hoorah! Hoorah!

One can only surmise that Bo-Jo wants to do a deal with the EU, but the Brexit team are dead against it, so off they jolly well trot...Hoorah! Hoorah!

Everything that has emerged from Brexit has proved to be tainted and doomed to failure. This aberration was midwifed by the charlatans feeding off the rightwing loons and bigoted that infest British politics fostering a doctrine that had no merit other than as a vehicle for their own naked ambition. The problem though is systemic and fundamental, and amounts to a simple equation in any analysis; by definition, given Brexit is utterly stupid and devoid of any measurable benefit, it follows that those who are responsible for it and who wish to promote its culture of imbecility are equally stupid and perforce incompetent.

Thus we have now finally reached the natural conclusion of this farrago of idiocy, the rats are fighting for survival and the jackass clown has ejected his Rasputin-mad Cummings in favour of a new crutch on which to hobble his way through the thickets of mediocrity so exemplified by his chosen cabinet of rejects, has-beens, gargoyles and the merely incompetent. And his new champion advisor is his baby mother, an ineffectual PR slapper who was marked for dismissal from Tory HQ for poor performance and fiddling expenses but was retained because BoJo the Clown was fucking her brains out.

I note Sajid the Carpet Seller is heralded as The Clown's new chief of staff in a return to more conventional government from whom we will now see an acknowledgement that the Whitehall cadre of civil servants, perhaps the best in the western world, should be respected and listened to rather than demonised and derided as was the case by that weird little misfit, Goebbels Cummings aided by his henchmen of bogus horizon scanners and demented lickspittles.

Does this mean the loonies are now going to be sidelined and the UK will concede to common sense and strike a deal that aids British commerce? With the insane Gove in the wings, who knows. If they see sense and strike a deal incorporating some degree of sanity then we shall no doubt have a resurgent £ back to 44-48 baht and $1.40.

If nothing changes and WTO is the default position with lorry park traffic jams stretching from Dover to the M25, then my earlier forecast, as endorsed by most sentient economic commentators, of parity with the Euro and near parity with the dollar at $1.10 will materialise.

We have known for a long time that your bitterness towards brexit was based solely on the pitiful exchange rate for sterling v the Thai Baht. Converting your monthly pension at such a low rate must be really hurting now, with zeto chance of recovery.
You have consistently claimed that the current rates have been factored in by FX markets as far back as 2016.
Its not likely to change to your advantage, just because brexit is over, and you are stuck in a country you despise.
Politics and economics just don’t work like that. Selfish wanker.

Now BoJo can ask for the 6 month extension so dearly needed for finishing the exit deal.

^ Any notion of leaving the EU reeks of ignorance and incompetence.

Cummings wrote in January of this year:

We want to improve performance and make me much less important — and within a year largely redundant.

The UK left the EU in January, Troy. What is being negotiated now is our future relationship and how we might trade together in the future.

Well, when the lumpen, the deluded, the stupid and the merely ignorant finally comprehend their lives have been diminished by quitting the single market and customs union, eschewing free movement and unfettered travel, they may well consider supporting a reversal of their ill-informed decision to believe the rhetoric of charlatans and downright liars.

Just a matter of time really.

One rather thinks even the dimmest of Tory voters most now realise The Clown is a shit PM and his government is a pile of fmanure shovelled by tenth rate crony twats.

If the trajectory into world obscurity and economic decline is pursued as seems likely, particularly when taxes will rise to pay for COVID and Brexit failure, then BoJo's second term is as likely as a virgin in a brothel and a victorious Labour could well win with a landslide on the promise of a return to pre Brexit times when Britain was a top table partner in the largest socio-economic association in the world, the £ was practically a reserve currency with a value equal to EUR1.46 and US1$1.55, and was considered to be the country best dealing with the banker crash fallout.

Rejoining the EU is of course the only way to go and maybe they will let us keep that rebate.

It's still unbelievable what we have thrown away in exchange for turning Kent into a lorry park, reducing the £ to banana republic status and re-intoducing a tariff regime not seen since the fucking 1960s at the cost of £16 billions a year payable by traders to the HMRC, and having a clown as PM.

EU Countries are still having problems dealing with it because they don't know whether a trade deal will be signed. My local auslaenderamt still doesn't know what they need to issue in order for me to move in and out of Germany easily. It's a mess and one that shouldn't be taking place on top of Covid.

Most of my fellow expat colleagues are now German citizens and couldn't give a hoot about the UK any longer.

If it was still an example of social and economic parity, that would be just fine. Political influence is only a necessary aspiration for a few, corrupt, power hungry individuals. Unlike you, they carry significant influence, and they are rubbing their greedy paws with delight at the prospect of creating a socialist doctrine, and a politically powerful collective.
Such hegemony is unnecessary and unwanted.

No doubt there are major shifts going on and planned for the next piece of future, but what makes you think your fellow expat colleagues reflect the sentiments of the German or EU gov, being happy to get shot of UK? Nothing could be further from reality, as usual.

It won't be over till it is, it isn't yet, and until it is the EU + Germany jointly and separately, maybe with a wee nudge from DC under its likely change of ownership, won't give up trying to keep UK under EU control, or 'save us from ourselves' as the assguy sees it.

But here's something for you and others to jizz over, the big loser in the coming circus will be UK, whatever the final outcome.

Forget the exuberant markets, gold and bitcoin, you read it here first.

Perhaps someone could explain, why the EU is going to considerable lengths to keep a legal and economic oversight on the UK. If the UK really is up the creek without a paddle, and as useless as the Pattaya snake charmer says it is, surely the EU posturing is simple paranoia?

Beyond the posturing no trade deal makes zero sense for either side, which is the only reason I can think of right now for them to agree one by end of year; maybe last minute, allowing both camps to boast of their pyrrhic victory.

£ strengthens a bit, but leave the bunting where it is for now because anything can happen when the EU goes pop.

Been a good year so far with gold and bitcoin, get on while they still look expensive!

The British never were under the control of the EU. No member state is under the control of the other. However, if you want unfettered trade and homogenisation of opportunity with your 26 colleague states within the world's largest free trade association then you abide the rules of the club which you joined and in which you have an equal share in controlling.

The UK left the club but still wants some of the perks. It ain't rocket science that it will have to submit to whatever the club demands.

Economically and politically, without the EU partnership, the UK has diminished itself. About time its ragbag loser of a government accepts the new realitY and understands the enormity of its colossal and very stupid mistake.

BoJo the Jackass is now, post Goebbels Cummings, trying to raise his status by spinning the great statesman role in saving the British fishing industry when its importance to the overall economy is as significant as a fart in a hurricane.

Honestly, you just couldn't write it - jeopardising over £250 billons worth of trade and 48% of your manufacturing output for a fucking haddock. Hr's an arse, a fat narcissistic buffoon performing the part of a cod Churchill. Har, har....geddit?

So it is paranoia on behalf of the EU then. If the EU is as great as you seem to think it is, why do they bother to negotiate at such a late hour? The UK has goodies which mean very little to the UK, but they a hugely important to influential EU states.
If you were correct, the EU could just pull the plug now. There is no altruism in their negotiating stance, they are paranoid about losing things that are important to them. That’s why they will continue to negotiate, you nasty little man.

But the point you continue to overlook in your obdurate and blinkered stupidity, you oaf, is that the EU is steadfast in not forsaking its principles in a way that might undermine its policy of cohesion and free competition in return for a mere 3% contribution to its combined GDP that is currently derived from access to British markets. But they do not believe the loony Brexit British government could be so idiotic as to forsake commerce for some half-arsed notion of independence dreamt up by an insane Gove and a vacillating BoJo. Which is why they continue to negotiate in the belief compromise will win and the British will continue to suck EU cock for their cherries.

Even after all this time you still do not understand the issues, you silly old man.

But, as an afterthought, perhaps I should add that in my view any deal to be negotiated with the English is quite worthless since they are little more than third world sleaze balls with as much honour as a whore's promise to a $50 John. They have reneged on the WA already, so what's the point? Well, in truth they are sticking at it in order to protect the Irish from the exigencies of a rabble political class pandering to English scum.
