but as usual, like most retarded retail customers, the advertised rates is half the story. They are going to catch you on the transfer fees, basically disguised as they are spread commissions. I can transfer 500K USD for 50 USD, yet the fookers at those FX places would charge you close to 3,000 USD for it. Go figure why now

think for a minute, FX rates are very volatiles, so how can they guarantee that rate at those exchanges? without making money on the service? the way to do it is to charge a huge spread that will pay for it. They take some risk, but at the same time they create some kind of liquidity on their exchanges. The only question is the counter-party risk and the clearing risk. But that's another level of complexity.

your bank will charge you a rate based on some internal FX rate they calculated based on some exchanges (usually ICE if I am not mistaken), and since you are not a big ass trader or a fooking institution, you are paying retail rate and it's nowhere near 40,

do you really think anyone believe your fucking idiotic lies on something so stupid and minor after all the shit you spout and exposed yourself to in the fooking Brexit thread?

anyway, you are not getting 40 and that's a fact, you lying old pensioner
If you persist with your foolishness long enough, rates will change. I do not need Thai baht at any declared rate or otherwise. I chose it because it illustrates an example that you still deny exists.
When I transfer money from my uk bank, I incur no charges because I move sterling from one uk bank, to another uk bank you clueless muppet.
TW charge me a flat rate for the transfer because I use my debit card to move money. The sterling is the transferred to my bank here, at the disclosed mid market rates. It usually takes 5 minutes on a normal working day.
Carry on being stupid, and listen to the sound of me and others laughing at you.
It does not matter what you say, or how you try to rearrange it. I get the declared rate, which is much better than bank counter rates and it is guaranteed. Try it sometime. You are so used to using scams yourself, you can’t accept that there is another way to do it.

You are like a lot of old women. You only listen when you are talking. Proven to be wrong, time and time again because you refuse to accept any fact, unless you made it up.
I have answered every point you made in this post, but as usual, you are not listening.

Now you can close the post.

Just accept it, the UK economy is in a parlous state with a rising GDP debt ratio exceeding 86%, a widening current account deficit, appallingly low productivity rate, a stagnant growth projection that will contract on a WTO Brexit and the currency has devalued by 20% since 2015.

Ireland, even with Brxit, is forecast to grow more and faster.

    indeed, and celebrating it too

An indian celebrating the embleme to commemorate the final chapter of the once mighty British empire

    quite poetic

Brexit day 50p coin unveiled by Chancellor Sajid Javid
Brexit day 50p coin unveiled by Chancellor Sajid Javid - BBC News

A commemorative 50p coin marking the UK's departure from the EU has been unveiled by Chancellor Sajid Javid.

The coins bear the inscription "Peace, prosperity and friendship with all nations" and the date of 31 January.

Mr Javid had first ordered production of the coins in advance of the UK's original 31 October departure date.

But the Brexit delay meant about a million coins had to be melted down and the metal put aside until a new exit date was confirmed.
    'New chapter'

About three million Brexit coins will enter circulation around the UK from Friday, with a further seven million to be added later in the year.

Mr Javid, who is Master of the Mint, was given the first batch of coins and will present one to Prime Minister Boris Johnson this week.

As part of the launch of the coin, the Royal Mint will open the doors of its south Wales HQ for 24 hours on 31 January (from 00:01 to 23.59) to let people strike their own commemorative Brexit coins.

Mr Javid said: "Leaving the European Union is a turning point in our history and this coin marks the beginning of this new chapter."

The European Parliament is expected to approve the Withdrawal Agreement on Wednesday, after the PM this week signed the treaty paving the way for the UK to leave on 31 January.

gotta love the "we come in peace" angle of the coin

looking for new opportunities to rape the world, after the mighty UK has been cockholded by the EU for so many years

time to spread the seed of love again

    should we be worried?

Treating 4 million people like fucking lepers having permitted them to make the country their home for over 45 years is spreading 'peace"?? The English Brexiteer and his sycophants are the coronavirus personified. I sincerely hope the next decade destroys them.

that's the beauty with fooks like Reese Mogg, they eventually self destruct on their own stupid shit

might take another 5 years to happen though, and you will be back to the era of pre-joining the EC in 1974

    good times ahead

No ostrich in this race though it should be easy to resolve otherwise you guys will be bitching forever; if TF is offering 40/£ and you change £1,000, will you receive net 40,000 baht?

Answer is no, you will receive net 40/£ on the balance after fees are deducted.

Freedom of movement within the EU didn't start until 1992. Applications for 'settled' status in the UK for EU citizens started in March last year. Of the estimated 3.7 million citizens domiciled in the UK, 2.5 million have already applied and been granted either 'settled' (resident 5+ years) or 'pre-settled' status (less than 5 years, can apply for 'settled' status when 5 years are reached. There is no loss or change to their current benefits or conditions for both groups, and there is no cost for the application. Applications for this scheme are open until June 2021.

Don't think this quite within the definition of being treated like lepers.

Yep your wish has come true and we're leaving, probably, which means you should definitely worry, slow and painful deaths can be slow and quite painful.

But on the bright side, Brits forgive easy.

My only concern is what your malignant leaders have up their sleeve; I worry when they smile.

A Guardian writer, typical of the loony 'liberal' left, wouldn't be friends with people who hold different 'values' - what a wanker, and this is why these people are the problem. They only accept a world where all their viewpoints have to finally be accepted by others. Total wankers...

Now, if you're somebody that only reads from these 'writers' then you're gonna be pretty limited in your knowledge and thought processes (as we've seen on this thread...) .

    Galloway is quality.

But, notice I watch and read right across the spectrum rather than some folks who only seem to have a Guardian point of view...
