50 years from now, like 80 year-old Japanese soldiers emerging from the Filipino jungle, they'll come crawling out of the vestgial wastelands waving their ragged little Union Jacks and will gaze in awe at the sunlit uplands and the high and shining city of New Brussels built on the dark and haunted ruins of Olde Westminster.

Right from the beginning I have said that Brexit was a disaster with no benefit whatsoever and a phantasm peddled by the anachronistic right wing Tory tuskers and their Young Turks nurtured on the teat of blind prejudice. But I also said it would destroy the Tory party and that prophecy has now come to pass with the prospect of a deeply divided shambolic cabinet desperately fighting the imminent prospect of an election that most conservative associations have said will wipe them out.

We Remainers are no more prescient than the next soothsayer but we are more intelligent and we all saw this coming. Stupid is as stupid does and they certainly did not come much stupider than your average Brexshitter.

I can see another hung parliament looming but this time a coalition of the willing will emerge that will either kick Brexit into touch or water it down to include retention of the CU and SM, and free movement.

What it is to be right, eh?

You will never know. You haven’t been anywhere near right about anything. Your insane ramblings are based on what you knew 30 years ago.
Live, and the UK has changed.
The collective responsibility of government, has been replaced by Brussels CS mostly. The U.K. CS has been replaced by the London left wing elites.

No matter. Your buddies will get quite a surprise. Not long now before the Brussels elite become as bored with May, as members on here are bored with you and you pathetic socialist rants.

Time to let the Brits go. The EU does not want us interfering with their inception of the Lisbon treaty, so it’s time to let go.

Bribing the EC will be easier than corrupting the DUP, and cheaper too. May has played a blinder, boring the U.K. and the EU to death.

You are not boring though. You are a washed up anachronism, but try as I might, I can’t even pity your arrogance and your ignorance. I just find you amusing.

Have you considered buying a colour tv? They’re all the rage since life changed from black and white back in your day. Silly old duffer.

It was agreed several times that Juncker was elected; this doesn't make it so.

Otoh as the only name on the ballot it could be said he was indeed elected, under the Doc's and now it seems also your version of 'democracy'.

    Sure.

In the 2014 election for Commission President there were four other candidates, Martin Schultz, Guy Verhofstadt, Ska Keller, and Alexis Tsipras.

Well done, mein Doc, you found an election where Juncker stood against others, and worthy of repeating your success in the same post.

Now perhaps you can save me from making a fool of myself again; is/was Juncker always democratically elected against others in EU elections, or was your selective 2014 election the exception to a rather undemocratic habit? (hint: google is your friend)

And being the reasonable person you no doubt are, iyho, is it democratic or slightly less than democratic when somebody receives 100% of a vote by being the only name on a ballot?

Straightforward questions that I suggest you evade by pointing out a grammatical era or too, or go stand in the corner...or of course shock us all by answering like the man you pretend to be.

Junker and Selmyr have avoided correct EU process and are just a little mafia, disliked across theEU spectrum; but, they have a lot of power.

Even EU check and balance mechanisms have consistently pointed out the irregularities and breaches, but the top EU staff, who in this case have simple managed processes to elect themselves have so much power that they simple ignore the checks and balances. Bobbie won't like this cut and pasting, and will no doubt throw back some childish insults, but it's importamnt to lay out the truths lest they be forgotten:

This is just a few cases focusing on the corrupt practices of Selmayr & Junker, but any kind of research shows these breaches of transparency and process guidelines again and again - the EU is controlled by a small group of people who break election procedures, the EU's own Ombudsman's words, not mine, and when they are advised to step down for breaking the procedures the likes of Selmayr and Junker just ignore the democratic moral underpinnings of the EU and do whatever they like.

These facts have been researched, discussed and detailed by EU staff, but all we will get in reply from the same remoaner bedwetters is denial, change the subject and insults. I struggle to understand how any intelligent and educated person cannot be worried about these findings.

Not AN election, you weaselly numbskull. Specifically the election for Commision President which you said several times he was unopposed in.

At this stage it's pretty obvious nobody can do that.

Like the five posts where you idiotically brayed about Juncker being elected President of the commission unopposed and as the only name on the ballot, despite him actually being opposed by the 4 other names on the ballot?

Listen, you bellyaching piece of toejam, you have shown that not only are you ignorant, not only are you stupid, but you don't even have the balls to admit when you're wrong.

^ Jabbering Jabir had probably found when Juncker was appointed milk monitor at junior school without all his classmate's approval.
