The EU is shit scared Britain thrives outside its clutches as they all know it's game over then hence our so called continental friends are doing everything they can to make sure that doesn't happen.

My money is on the UK.

I didn't realise so many of the "Brussels Elite" are also TD members...

There's still time to end this madness, extend article 50 and have a referendum which will deliver a sane vote now that those people not beyond hope have had a look over the precipice.

However Corbyn pathetically ducking his responsibilities will not be forgotten.

Extend A50 by all means, provided it leads to a managed Brexit.
Another referendum? That is the last thing you need. Better informed Brexiteers, who have now seen the Brussels vitriol, might just surprise you.

Clearly you have learnt very little regards Brexit and its implications over the last couple of years.

It is the Maybot who has changed her position, saying one thing in NI and then backing down to a minority of ERG members and the DUP. Even this week, her speech in NI contradicted her stance in Brussels. Meanwhile, the EU have remained controlled from the start.

Where are the new trade deals promised for next month? Doesn't the Japan EU FTA worry you when Japan says the UK can't have the same or better terms?

The Brexit dream is for the deluded and no solution is as good as the status quo. The world has moved on and people need to move with it.

Imho the 27 should not agree to extend A50 without a firm commitment by UK to resolve the current sticking point (or an even less likely Ref2). Easier said than done since the EU don't want us out and are using NI as their way of saying please stay you're the only ones dumb enough to bring us fruit and flowers in the not too distant future. Sure this attitude and underhand tactics are pushing us closer to a no deal, but that's better than the current uncertainty.

Greece doesn't matter much, since they're a pauperised liability whose continued membership appears expensive but is cheap enough in terms of commitment to the greater federal cause. And won't be France under the dwarf so will it be Ireland next, or Italy?

While Italy is no stranger to recession this one is different, following a decade of stagnation/recovery with massive stimulus to keep it above water on the one EU hand, while the other pushes down polite but firm for the greater good; iow, the Italian banking system has been sacrificed to beef up French but mostly German banks and their constant need for more money as security against their dangerous levels of debt exposure. While that exposure and the occasional illegal EU bailout have kept the German economy firing on all cylinders - we produce good stuff, you lend them the money to buy it, and we'll burn money through illegal non-repayable loans so they can pay you off - debtor countries have gradually had their backs broken under current rules and attitudes with no positives to show for it other than being 'in' a once powerful empire in a death spiral.

Er, a referendum usually has options and these are quite often conveyed through the use of words. Starting to make sense?

So, what's your wording (I shouldn't need to add "for Ref2" since it was you that brought it up, but you already have a complicated life to deal with so I shall...) for Ref2?

I hear Farage has got his Brexit party under way. I don't think the EU will change the current MEP allocations or elections if Brexit is delayed so his European MEP election ideas are futile. Only if A50 is revoked will UK get new member allocations and then his party is pretty much defunct. He's a loser and needs to bugger off and die or be burnt at the stake, horrible, nasty, lying creature that he is.

He is asking you to quantify the options on the second referendum that you suggest might be useful.
    But you knew that already.

Having no answer means you have to resort to name calling. Which is just as pathetic as your desire for a second referendum. Be careful what you wish for, however unlikely it might be.

Just admit you don't know what the wording might be but felt the urge to pretend that you do have an opinion which resulted in calling for Ref2. That would be acceptable, and from you understandable.

Since Parliament has overwhelmingly rejected the May agreement and rejected no-deal, albeit without legal enforcement, other solutions are required. These have not been formally debated yet and so the wording of any second referendum cannot be predicted.

    Leave with May's deal
    Leave with No deal
    Do not leave

Choose in order of preference, 123.

One potential problem is that a referendum with three options may confuse people.

Those who cannot handle three choices are not suited to vote in a referendum and better stay in the pub instead.

The flawed WA is clearly not a suitable option.
    The electorate already voted on
    Leave
    Remain

.... but we’re too thick to come up with the right answer, so, per EU rules, we must continue to vote, until we get it right.

No Cyrille. Wrong answer. Try again, and again .... until you get it right.

REF2 is the only political exit for this whole mess,

strangely both sides don't want it, which means it's probably the right thing to do as both sides are populated by crazy lunatics like our TD Brexit residents

make no mistake, Maybot is a hardcore Brexiter. Granted she got a bad deal in her rush to exit. But the bad deal was the exit itself.

she doesn't want REF2 because she is afraid of the results, like all the Brexit lunatics, and she should be

she is going to hard Brexit eventually because she can't accept the mistakes she made,

We, Europeans, fully support her in her self destructing adventure

    Go Maybot, Go

3 options? Ok, not sure how much value you place on referendums but let's humour you.

If *1 wins, and before implementation the EU renegotiate a different deal, should we have a Ref3 since voters went for an option that no longer exists?

If *2, and before implementation the EU make concessions, are we still committed to no deal, or fart around another few years, or go for Ref3?

As for your amazing third option it's clear you don't geddit, we're leaving, that's already been decided, and not sure where you're from but Brits might notice if their glorious leaders try to slip in a cranky losers' option.

Must be terrible being you, but I guess someone has to do it!

I think the point is that REF1 was a mistake and that the British people need to revisit their options after the disastrous demonstration of your politicians negotiating skils
