if you fookers had any balls or conviction about this Brexit situation, you would follow French example and throw shit, your leaders would listen

instead you hide behind your beers and cry about how right you are

It's because the much cited "silent majority" are in reality just a very "vocal minority" ...so they are easily ignored by the people that matter.

Consider this photo from an EDL match just a few weeks ago in the UK's 2nd largest city:

It appears that Spain has got what it wanted from Muddler May:

No details just vague statements from Spain, EU and UK.

Sounds a lot like the Tories lost Gibraltar in a poker game...

Sánchez said: “Once the UK has left the EU, Gibraltar’s political, legal and even geographic relationship with the EU will go through Spain …

You just know that this ‘deal’ will be waved through the eu membership, only to face defeat at the last bastion of true democracy. The UK parliament will not surrender to this so called deal.
The general election that follows, will turn into a second referendum on Brexit.

Back to square one and two years of uncertainty imposed on citizens and businesses, home and abroad, is now wasted.

Some small minded, blind, parochial little frog will get his wish after all.

Could never prove it, but that appears to be the goal of a high level conspiracy to outplay Brexit.

Not sure about the general election, I prefer a simple resignation and takeover, but what anyone here wants or hopes is irrelevant in our crazy times.

I keep reading that a hard Brexit is unlikely, impossible or suicidal. Uk obviously lost the pioneering spirit. Probably smothered by the limitations on thinking in the civil service. Seeking ass being the prime example.

Interesting that governments need to be told what to do in your socialist utopia. Especially when you consider the person doing the telling.

what has socialism, such a filthy word, got to do with the exchange rate?. Socialism does not work because eventually you run out of other people's money- St Margaret.

    Well, not quite.

Despite having over a thousand posts between you on this thread, it appears that neither of you can tell apart the President of the European Commission Claude Junker (pictured) and the President of the European Council Donald Tusk.

The eu council and the eu commission. Both chapters invented for the eu bible of fairy stories. Run by unelected idiots.

Nice fairy tale, but no one is fooled by the clowns any more. Exposed by involvement in Brexit as the worthless scum that they are.

I worry that if we get a hard brexit my £1 will only get 350ml of a bottle of chang classic, its likely to have an unforeseen sundowner effect.

The Greater Manchester Built-up Area has a population of 2.6 million which puts it about 150kish more than Birmingham.

In the context of the post and the number of people from the surrounding area who could have attended UKIP's demo, I didn't think the city boundary was entirely relevant.

After years of denying this will ever happen, the European leaders are now clearly detailing their plans for a European army to be controlled by Brussels. NATO has done this job since WW2.
