After that budget, Hammonds dire economic predictions, and the fact that the UK now has to pay twice the original asking price it's the UK that's been fucked or, as it was sef-inflicted, has become the biggest wanker on the block.

At this point in the negotiations, only the UK appears to be willing to compromise and move forward, and hence the 'hard Brexit' is being driven more by the EU than the UK. What I find surprising is the stance being taken by the Irish government at the moment. The UK is their largest single trading partner in the EU, with most of their exports being agricultural products and hence will be subject to the highest tariffs under the UK's WTO scenario. One would have thought the Irish would be pressing Tusk, Junker, Merkel and Macron to get a deal done. The New Year will see the UK accelerate it's leaving preparation for sure, with more Customs and Border force recruitment, lorry parks at the main ports etc. Wonder how the EU's preparations for a hard Brexit are coming along?

It will be worth either the undoubted pain of a hard brexit or paying the extortionate demands plucked out of thin air by the two faced dishonest self serving french and german negotiators of brussels in order to free ourselves from the ever tightening noose that is the eu.

Err, the degree of distortion of the truth inherent in this crass claim is actually quite a good illustration of the sheer stupidity of the average Brexshitter.

The negotiations are about what compromises the British are prepared to make in order to benefit from a vestigial EU membership. The EU have now been waiting for over a year to learn of what detailed proposals the British are offering but as yet nothing has yet been profferred except vacuous rhetoric and ill-considered pap generated by doctrinal Tory pygmies and UKIP fuckwits.

The Irish have been asking for months how the the British are proposing to operate their border between them and the province but other than thin assurances the solutions will be " imaginative and technologically based " they have received nothing.

The EU states are united now in demanding that the British should confirm that they will pay their outstanding bills, around £60 billions, without any pre-conditions, before substantive trade talks can proceed. The British have delayed this because the Conservative Party still hasn't made up its mind as to how much they want to be held responsible for fucking up the country for the next two decades.

The reality of course is that the UK is simply not in a position to follow through with any of their absurd claims so far - that they will register and process 3 million EU citizens and their families by 2021 and that HMRC and the Border Agency will have systems in place for dealing with the control of goods generated by road transport from the EU into the UK amounting to 300 million tons annually at 51 major ports, and the control of 450 million EU nationals that are to be brought under the ambit of the Immigration Act 1971. The not inconsiderable logistics of providing customs clearances for the movements of 3 million lorries leaving the UK for the Continent, the annual typical flow, has yet to impinge on the combined consciousnesses of the Tory Brexit cabinet it seems but judging from the performance of Davies and his Brexit team that comes as no great surprise.

The thing is, Brexit is a fuck-up, the Tory government is a fuck-up, the Tory party is a fuck-up and the UK is a fuck-up because the administration of the country by its civil servants has been sabotaged by the single greatest act of political self destruction in living memory.

It's a disaster but in terms of its scope and scale it is without precedent and that makes it all the more fascinating when one observes just how fucking unaware the stupid English are in comprehending the depths of the imminent chaos. There are over 100 intra - EU agencies of which the UK has been a part that have been jointly created over 43 years which determined our collective socio-political-economic being leading to our status in the the world as G7 member and 5th largest economy but these are all to be dismantled in two years by the worst Cabinet in 60 years which will sit in isolation and without parliamentary oversight to draft a new blueprint for Britain in the image of Boris Johnson, Maybot, Davies, Fox and Gove aided by nutters such as Bone, Raab and Rees Mogg.

It truly is beginning to be very, very funny.

Frankly, it's almost as if England has now become totally populated by Welsh inbreds and West country web - footed sister fuckers.

    You is fucked.

    Indeed.

The "compromise" the UK is offering, is that they don't comply with the contractual terms, without anything tangible in return.

The problem facing the UK is not Brexit but weak, undecided, disunited and incompetent leaders up against powerful unelected but seasoned predators. I don't blame EU bullies for exploiting the situation, but when the dust settles whatever they do prise from May will be stolen or squandered on ambitious and unrealistic projects.

This is why the future looks bleak for all, Brit and Europe.

And to think that less than 18 months ago it was all about how much more lavverly lolly the chancellor would have to lavish on the NHS.

The UK electorate really outdid even their own impressive recent track record for rank stupidity with that decision.

And you do remember I hope that what the UK will be coughing up is in order not to be completely ostracised from this supposedly moribund trading bloc?

The NHS is a black hole, try as they pretend to do there is not enough money in the world to fill it.

40 or 60 billion for a guarantee of trade talks is a rather expensive way to end up looking even more foolish than before. My guess is the EU will finally accept, when May throws in a few extra billions as a gesture of good faith (desperation), and agree to talks but with zero intention of reaching agreement on anything that might save UK from its own leaders.

What will be a real chuckle is seeing the Breixiteers meltdown when their is an inevitable influx of immigrants from India and Pakistan (brown people, oh my!) due to the fact that we are lacking a ready and able skilled labor pool.

It has everything to do with the UK government being undecided and weak.

BTW the UK was instrumental in bringing about many of the ambitious EU projects not least of which was those Eastern European countries joining the EU.

If the UK could afford to leave the EU without any trade deal then they would have done so already. It is the UK that need to make the moves and compromise their hard stance position. The EU can afford to sit back and watch May squirm.

I agree, but it's a totally selfish and self absorbed attitude that even paid up progressives overlook. As humanitarians, which westerners pretend to be, where should they rather have brown doctors and nurses - in the NHS or in their home countries where they are most needed? Instead, all we hear is the need for 'immigration', which assumes it's of the professional working kind that contributes positively to the economy and society to fill this or that need.

The real chuckle will be to watch the main driving force of Brexit become redundant with first tens and then hundreds of annual thousands of immigrants from India and Pakistan and other flea pits (various shades of same brown people) that do not work at all but thrive on reproducing as they and families and succeeding generations latch onto the welfare tit. But that won't happen, we know, because our glorious leader said so.

The UK doesn't *have to* pay anything... there's no legally binding contract here. The EU are bunch of pisstaking corruptocrats who have run the EU economies into the ground, and undermined immigration laws across the EU.

The UK needs to go even harder than hard brexit, quit the fake talks, zero our tariffs and compete the shit out of the EU for every sector they are weak in - which is most of them. The objective being to force the collapse of the EU by prompting other countries to exit and join EFTA, which is a far more sensible organisation. Leave the French and Germans to play their bureaucratic empire-building game alone together without inflicting it on the rest of Europe.

It has always seemed clear that the negotiations were insincere, and the EU's main objective is to put off any other country from doing it, whilst they bullshit their way towards constructing a hard brexit and trying to ensure that the blame is placed on the UK - it's EU passive aggressiveness - they make unreasonable stupid demands, and then throw their hands up when told to get focked, and keep doing it until the clock runs out, or better still the UK walks. The UK should never have indulged this bullshit, should have just stated WTO and zero tariffs on day 1, and then walked if it wasn't accepted within 24 hours. Business just needs to know where they stand, they don't need any special deal. All this 2-year thing does is create instabilty, and give airtime to remainiacs to attempt to undermine the democratically expressed will of the people of a member state that wants to leave.

Don't be so focking stupid, you hipster-racist prick, the country is already overpopulated with immigrants, and housing bubble is straining at its molecular bonds. What a shock when all those middles class guardian reading champagne socialist immigrant exploiting remainiacs have to watch their house prices crash from 10 or 20-times average earnings to half that... oh dear... have to live like the neanderthal brexiteer peasantry, trapped in persistent debt and living in a coastal shithole town, and send your kids to the local comp... no more the tourists of the ghetto they created, they'll have to live in it - oh how funny that will be!
