Yeah, a bit of an odd one from nev, that. I was waking up when I read it and it took a while to sink in that that was what he was really bragging about. From nev too. An otherwise clearly intelligent chap.

It's a shitshow, but at least the keys to my house still work.

Jolly good. Brexit just keeps on giving, doesn't it?

Brexiteers are really quite stupid, the European iteration of the Thai Isaan chickenhead.

The new narrative unfolding is that the Brexitories have not been able to capitalise on the opportunities of Brexit because of residual negativism holding greatness back. I still ask what it is Engerlandia is going to sell to the world that it was prevented from doing so before Brexit. Still no answer.

Quite funny though in a depressingly ironic sort of way is that Britain has a wobbler for a PM who is currently on his knees desperately trying to suck another wobbler’s cock hoping that he will clinch a free trade deal with a society that is corrupt, obscenely unjust, brutally unfair and a recipient of British foreign aid to the tune of £2 billions, and which will presumably facilitate a greater influx of wobblers into the UK.

And to think, only seven years ago Britain was a leading partner in the world’s wealthiest and most successful socio-economic association which imported annually over 49% of our entire manufacturing output.

What a comedown, a country now reduced to licking heathen savage arseholes for scraps off coon tables to make up for the £100 billions lost annually from the Brexit disaster.

Engerlandia, now a new emerging country rising out of the ashes of its own self destruction, jostling with the third world for space at the global trough and sidelined by the EU and Europe.

Get the guy at the start of the Grimsby video.

He explains that his livelihood and that of others rested on getting fish from Iceland which were then packed and prepared in Grimsby before bring shipped off to Boulogne.

After BREXIT, in a stunning turnaround, in Iceland it was deemed preferable to ship straight to Boulogne.

And he still mumbles something about how in principle things are better now.

    Principles eh?

How much are they per kilo?

Or per 2.2 lbs if you prefer.

    Daft prat.

    Quiz question!

Which Welsh borough received more in EU handouts than any other city in the union?

Problem is, whereas the Seppos redeemed themselves and fucked off the orange rapist, the Engerlish are just too stupid to volte face and acknowledge their idiocy was a huge mistake.
The future is grim, a permanently devalued currency commensurate with astronomically high debt levels, a stagnant economy infected with stagflation, low productivity, an ageing population, a dysfunctional and stagnant property market which has locked millions out of ownership, and we have swapped our European labour force with which we were culturally aligned for a new wave of third world migrants.
But I have an Irish passport which means I suffer none of your adversity but still enjoy free movement in 27 countries.
Apropos that twit Neverna’s crass comments, the current on-entry regime at all the major ports means that UK citizens share exactly the same method of entry as EU nationals, Irish Citizens, Americans, Canadians, Singaporeans, Japs, Koreans and Antipodeans i.e. the automatic gates.

Here we go again ....... Keir has already signed us up with Micron.

France and Germany plot EU ‘inner circle’ – leaving door open for Britain

The countries have tabled a blueprint for closer integration among willing member states, which includes a new membership ‘even for the UK’

France and Germany are pushing plans to offer Britain and other European countries “associate membership” of the EU in a move that could rebuild Britain’s ties with the bloc.

The two countries have tabled a blueprint to overhaul European Union membership into four tiers, with the most closely aligned states forming an “inner circle”.

Other tiers would include current and future EU member states, as well as associate membership and membership of the wider European Political Community (EPC) which would be open to the UK.

Lord Heseltine told The Independent that the UK must urgently explore the idea as the “overarching majority of people in Britain see Brexit as a mistake”.

However, asked about the potential to join a new outer tier of the EU, Tory former business secretary and arch-Brexiteer Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg said: “I like the outer tier that we are currently in.”

And former Brexit minister Lord Frost told The Independent Britain should “certainly not” consider associate membership.

Associate membership would form the bloc’s first “outer tier” and could include members of Europe’s single market who are not in the EU, such as Switzerland or “even the UK”, a paper put forward by France and Germany stated.

Associate members would not be bound to “ever closer union” and further integration, it said. They would also not participate in deeper integration in policy areas such as justice, home affairs and citizenship.

Starmer to meet Macron as experts say his Brexit deal bid looks ‘challenging’

But they would have to commit to the “common principles and values” of the EU, the plans state.

Associate members would also pay into the EU’s budget, but with lower costs.

A second tier for outer members would not include any integration with EU law but would upgrade the underpinning of the European Political Community (EPC), of which Britain is a part. It would see free trade agreements in certain areas such as energy or defence, and would focus on cooperation on important issues such as climate and security.

News of the plan comes after Sir Keir Starmer held “very constructive and positive” talks in Paris with French president Emmanuel Macron.

The Labour leader said the meeting began with an “exchange of gifts” and covered topics including “the relationship between our two countries” and future “prosperity and security”.

Sir Keir stressed plans to “build” on the relationship between France and Britain if Labour wins power.

But Labour ruled out “any form of membership” if it enters talks with Brussels. A party spokesperson said: “Labour will seek a better deal for Britain. This does not involve any form of membership.”

And the prime minister’s official spokesman, asked whether Rishi Sunak would countenance Britain becoming an associate member of the EU, said: “No.”

A European diplomatic source told The Times the plan was designed with Labour in mind, despite Sir Keir having ruled out rejoining the EU’s single market.

“It is carefully balanced politically to be a potential place for Britain without the need to ever rejoin the EU or to hold a referendum,” the source said.

Associate membership would not include a customs union, allowing Britain to keep an independent trade policy.

Lord Heseltine told The Independent Britain “must urgently explore” France and Germany’s plan.

The Tory former deputy prime minister said: “The remorseless pressure of public opinion is changing the dynamic of politics.

Somewhat amusingly, the Tory press, notably Murdoch papers, in an attempt to humiliate Starmer in his recent announcement that he wished to renegotiate the Withdrawal Agreement, all claimed over the past few days the EU had heaped scorn on his proposals. And now this.

    British journalism at its finest.

A train carrying hundreds of EU politicians heading for Strasbourg today took the wrong track and ended up at Disneyland instead.

This is what the media outlet Politico writes on the basis of several posts on social media from EU politicians who were on the trip.

The European Parliament has previously been called a Mickey Mouse Parliament, which does not need to be taken seriously. Today's incident has therefore brought a smile to the faces of several politicians on the trip, who highlight the reference on social media.

It happens on the same day as the celebration of Disney's 100th 'birthday'.

I see my forecast that the destruction of the Brexitory Trash Party would be sealed by the next election is now coming true, as indeed do many of my prognostications viz stagflation, devalued currency, low productivity, and a continuing loss of trade totalling £100 billions, annually. 6.7% inflation, the highest in EU, £=$1.21, a rate that remains 20% lower than that which prevailed in 2016, and over 200,000 jobs have been lost in manufacturing.

Poor old Yehudi Tax, he thought all this would be just a blip and over after a year or so.

    The sad schmuck.

    The sad schmuck.

its you that i feel sorry for.

marooned in pattaya, surrounded by whores, freaks, oiks and orcs. life is not how you imagined it would be be is it? the broken down pavements, the flooding, the sewage, the local chickenheads squabbling and fighting over a 50 baht note, and its raining russians as they cascade down from their condo balconies.

but you, unable to chew the fat with the loud mouthed tattooed mongers, the sweaty wobbleheads, the money laundering eastern european and chinese scum, the rapist swarthies and the money grabbing locals that infest the town and with no working labour party group steering committee meetings to attend, (where like minded pen pushers can spend hours debating yet another amendment to the directive that the vice-chair/ membership, secretary, treasurer, women’s officer/women’s branch secretary, bame officer, lgbt rep, who must be a member of a trade union in accordance with chapter 2 clause I.6.B, and that at least three of the first six officers, as well as at least half of the total number of officers, must be women as defined by the agreements made by the quorum committee at last years agm. gotta love those oh so virtuous socialists eh? ) are stuck in your compound, a swim as the sun lowers in the sky, a shopping expedition in search of pork scratchings and some hp sauce. what a fucking life you lead.

and of course your future plans, your dreams, those sunny uplands, stymied by the perfect storm of your chinese buyer pulling out of buying your eyrie, the missus' refusal to abandon her isaan roots for a comfortable life in europe and your ineligibility for eu citizenship, you find yourself stuck in thailand, obsessing about what might have been and building up a tsunami of hatred towards the uk, thailand and the world in general, and have spent 6 years marinating in your simmering toxic schadenfreude.

wheres the happiness? whats wrong with you? life goes on whatever our inept political leaders decide. with savings rates of 6% and no debt, some of us are living it large here in the uk.

life is great. ........ and the eu is in an even bigger mess than the uk. both socially and economically. fact.

    so suck it up.

A somewhat splenetic diatribe amounting to no more than delusional fantasy does not constitute a good post Prag, although I do acknowledge your grasp of the actualité might elude you.

But as you must know yourself, inflation does give we public sector workers a nice fillip and this year, as last, we’re both going to do rather well again.

Incidentally, I already have free movement etc within the EU.

Also, I have never been happy, at best one is content.

thats quite an admission to make.

surely there must be some things, some events, some life passages that elevate your state of unhappiness or contentedness to a state of joy, other than the total elimination of our friends the red sea pedestrians,

you seem to take a strange delight in the suffering of others, possibly it is just your trolling here, and i would be the first to admit to appreciating the joys of schadenfreude, but you take it to another level entirely.

    its not healthy!

you should perhaps seek some professional counselling, or at least an hour or two down the nuru massage shop to lighten the load on your mind.

p.s. do you live on a high floor?
