It has decimated whole sectors of British commerce, from agriculture to fisheries, from food processing to the leisure industry. It has lost £100 billions annually to the economy. It has upended the prospects of peace in NI after 23 years of coexistence that was impossible during the previous 30 years. It has diminished Britain on the world stage and benefited a Russian tyrant in his bid to undermine democracy and unity in the West.

But above all, it has precipitated the worst British government in modern political history led by the most incompetent narcissistic sociopath to enter 10 Downing Street.

The problem of Brexit, and the one that will determine the future generation in ways that can only be to their disadvantage, is that for the first time in British political history a decision to end a long period of prosperous socio-economic progress was delegated to a significant number of stupid, ignorant, deluded, bigoted and credulous idiots manipulated by tenth rate political shysters and their demagogues in a referendum that had no part in our parliamentary democracy.
